I’ve lived in Fairfield County my whole life and we’ve owned several homes. After changing heating oil companies a few times my husband met Bob Hofmiller and we decided to give his company a go. Best decision! Bob himself has always made sure everything was working, treated us well and pricing has always been fair. We are very grateful, it’s the best service we have had.

Technicians never showed up to clean the furnace. I called Wendy in Hofmiller's office. She was rude, disrespectful, and uncaring without letting me get a word in during our conversation. Please note that all of my bills were paid on time, which suggests, clearly, discrimination practice with a prejudiced attitude toward people. I pray you avoid this fuel oil company plus related services provided. Unfortunately, I made a terrible mistake. Avoid this one. Darren Paul Zapotocky

This is my first full year of using Hofmiller Energy for the delivery of my home heating oil and working with them has been a pleasure they contacted me early to see if I would like to go on a payment plan which has been most helpful. When I had a problem with my oil burner I thought of contacting no one but them. My oil burner kept going off on safety and would not stay on long enough to heat the house. I called Hofmiller and they arranged to have a technician come out the very next day and quoted me a reasonable price. Their technician arrived right on time and fixed the problem with the oil burner and the furnace has never sounded better. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

Nice young man came out. When the guy came, my dog had run out of the yard and I had to get him. I explained what happened and he was very accommodating to me and let me take care of finding my dog. When I finally got my dog and got back home, he had taken care of reviewing the problem. He had written up what had happened and then walked me through the problems. He told me that I needed to replace my unit because the whole thing was blown. He wrote up an estimate for over $5000.00. Something just didn?t sit with me right and I had someone else come out to get a second opinion. The guy told me that the switch had been triggered off and the guy reset the breaker and it turned it back on. Amazingly, the unit worked just fine. He suggested I get it serviced just to make sure all was working properly. I can't believe that this company tried to pull something like this!
