This company is absolute garbage. I had a chimney liner installed and was told I had a lifetime warranty. A few months later I had smoke coming in the house from the connector so I shut off my pellet stove and contacted them about something being wrong I made 3 appointments with them and they were no shows and every time I called to advise of the situation I got a bunch of rude and disrespectful employees. Finally I had someone come in and inspect the chimney and paid for a cleaning a creosote treatment. After not even going through half a pallet worth of pellets I had a fire inside the pipes and had to call 911. When I called them back they told me several times they'd have a manager call me and they never did. I explained that to one of them employees I was talking to and let him know it's been a problem getting a manager to call me back and he told me I'm the one with the problem and got real loud and aggressive. So I met him with the same energy and he hung up and blocked my call. The next day I called back from my wifeâ s phone. And they were very aggressive and spoke in a real threatening manner. I continued to try to get information on when they would resolve this matter. And I was told I ask too many questions. The I tried to get the information that I needed the more aggressive they got. It got to the point I felt very threatened by these thugs. The worst part about this is they know where I live and can show up here at any time. This company is garbage and the people they have working there are straight scum.

Immediate contact Fast service for my furnace chimney cleaning

TL;DR: Shamrock C C broke my chimney damper handle, probably tried to scam me to the tune of $600, and then jerked me around for a month when I asked them to replace the part they broke. I will never hire them again, and you should not either. I hired Shamrock C&C for a routine chimney sweep/inspect. They cleaned my chimney, told me my vestal damper was warped beyond repair, then quoted me $600 to install a new damper at the top of the chimney. In the process of all this, they also broke the operating handle for my vestal damper. I didn't pursue that issue immediately, because they had informed me my damper needed replacement anyway. About a month later while I was examining competitor's quotes and generally researching the topic, I "fixed" the damper myself by shifting it one inch to the left on its hinge. It was never damaged. I contacted Shamrock C&C to ask them to replace the damper handle they broke. In short, they were dismissive on the phone, and repeatedly failed to call me back after promising they would investigate. Look elsewhere if you need chimney work. These guys don't give a shit about their customers.

The were great, they came out and squeezed me in before the storm, did a thorough inspection and then recommended things I can do after the holidays.

They were in and out in no time. My concern was for the guy walking around on my roof. He seem nice enough, he talked a lot. I think I will try a different service next year.

We were very satisfied with the work done by the technicians who cleaned our wood stove chimney in our garage. They were friendly, efficient, and competent and also worked quickly. We were very happy the company was quick in handling our request for service.

They were the first to respond to my inquiry and scheduled a timely visit for an assessment and quote. The chimney needed resurfacing and the job was completed in a day.

David and Manuel were polite, efficient and professional. They provided a written estimate and there were no surprises. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!! They engage in VERY SHADY business practices and do ABSOLUTELY LOUSY work. I'm embarrassed to say I got scammed by them to the tuned of $4,500. I donâ t want others to suffer the same, especially elderly in Maine and NH who live on fixed incomes and can ill afford to be scammed in the way I was. Their work was lousy and they refused throughout to fix or even acknowledge the painfully obvious issues I raised with them. When I finally threatened to withhold payment until they did what I was asking of them, one of the two-man crew stated, very Tony Soprano-like, something very close to, "You really don't know who you're dealing with. You don't want to mess with these people." "These people"? In the end, the job was done not in the least to my satisfaction. The crew leader, Albin from Stamford, CT, said to text him the following week, and he'd see if they might be able to come out to address some of the issues I had with their work. I texted him four times over the ensuing three weeks and got zero replies. I was originally promised a 20-year warranty on the work. When Albin wrote the revised work order up, he included a 10-year warranty. When I said I was promised 20 years, he simply crossed out the 10 and inserted 20, saying, "There. Are you happy?" Ten years or 20 doesn't matter, as I knew fully well, at that point, that their warranty is absolutely worthless. While setting the job up, I had no problem calling their office. Now that the work is â done,â every time I call, I get voice mail and my calls have never been returned. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE AND AVOID SHAMROCK C & C AND GETTING SCAMMED BY THEM THE WAY I DID!

I would suggest to get an estimate first. Over the years I only had the flue cleaned by an individual who never went on the roof. Rocco gave me an education on what was happening to the chimney and fireplace. He and his coworker helped line the chimney, capped it and did other services. So I was not prepared for the cost. So that was also a learning experience.

The only reason they were rated 3 on customer service. They give me an estimate window and did not call to let me know they would be late or get caught up on another job. They can make improvements in that area so the customer donâ t seat around all day waiting for them.

Technicians Joseph and Michael were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They worked the whole day in rainy cold weather to get the chimney back to safe working condition. I hired this company to clean the chimney. Major issues were seen, shown to me via pictures and repaired. I feel they probably helped me avoid real danger- house fire/ chimney fire.

Called immediately. Scheduled quickly. Laughed at my jokes on the phone.

Joe D. and his associate did an excellent job of removing the blockages from my chimney, so that my furnace and hot water heater could be connected safely. They also sealed areas that needed to be closed where the chimney meets the roof and the masonry.

I unfortunately had a very poor experience with this company. Upon the employees performing an inspection, I was given a quote that said there would be multiple trips required to address a creosote issue in my chimney to the tune of $1,100. I signed the contract and agreed to this price with that understanding. The employees arrived (one trip)and completed the work in one hour. I asked if the price would be a adjusted down to be commensurate with the labor, and they said the owner said no. I called and asked to speak to the business owner and was told he was unavailable. I have not heard back The employees said they needed payment before they could leave so I paid. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a service company.

WE had a leak around the chimney. They fixed it I hope. I did get a warranty so hopefully all is well. Need some more rain to insure the leak is fixed.

Questionable techs, spent more time in the truck then cleaning the chimney.

painted black flashing cement all over the copper step flashing of the chimney and on the painted shingles next to the chimeny. Did not return to correct problem after they promised to do so. I asked for a refund of $500 for me to correct problem areas but no response.

They arrived on time and soon after I called for an estimate. David & Manuel were excellent at diagnosing three significant problems which I already knew about and offered solutions for each one. They were prepared to do the work immediately. The work was completed unobtrusively and they cleaned completely when finished.
