Justin was fantastic with explaining what we needed as well as what we didnâ t need. He and James put on a new chimney cap, a new cement crown, and water proofed the chimney. Everything made sense and the price was, I thought, more than fair. So happy with the whole experience starting with the prompt response from the office, the communication throughout, and the quality of the work that Shamrock provided!!!

Setting the appointment was fast and easy. The woman who set it up was very pleasant. Omar and his associate were running late but called to let me know. When they arrived they got right to work. My house is old and the previous owners were not good with upkeep. I hired Shamrock for a cleaning and they discovered a lot of creosote, a bad cap, and the flashing was pulled away by an inch all around. The price they quoted was high but the work needed to be done. They did waive the cleaning fee. Omar did the work then and there and it came out really nice. He was good to work with and hung back to talk about next steps. I called the following day to clarify a few things and make sure I was doing what he recommended correctly and the woman I spoke to was knowledgeable and down to earth. Overall, the price was much more than anticipated but so was the scope of work. The work is done and done well.

A great crew worked through install and renovation with a level of care and professional responsibility any homeowner would welcome. Experienced and knowledgeable with attention to detail and timely completion of project. I would recommend Shamrock Chimney to anyone I know. Thank you to Justin and James for a job well done.

Customer service from the first call I made Was exceptional. Even got return e- mails twice, even though it was a holiday week end!!the curtesy I recieved was kind and very informative. I was given an appointment with in 4 days.. The workers Lindi and his co worker were respectful of the property, and the many questions I had for Lindi were answered in kind and effective way , so I could understand. They both worked hard especially being up on the roof on a very hot day. Linde , resurfaced the top of my chimney , and put in two new caps, and water proofed the brick! He had a short story for me about resurfacing done by my deceased husband. Apparently my husband left a quarter ( guess itâ s a truck to know when the quarter appears itâ s time to resurface.. he gave me the quarter at the end of the jobâ ¦ i so much to think he had it in his hands( what a sweet jester)..he also sent pictures of the top of chimney before and after!!!

They came in and recommended to upgrade our fireplace by putting stainless steel through the flue going directly to the wood burning stove we have. Job was done that quick but I did not like the finish. They ended up needing me to repaint and plaster my walling.

Omar and Juan were absolutely wonderful! They made time to service and install same day. They were polite, timely, and affordable! Truly appreciate their skills and services. Would definitely recommend!

Evan and Nick , awesome Dynamic duo! They pointed the chimney , fixed damper and lined the chimney flutes ( fireplace and hvac.) Cleanliness and neat a major plus for me ! Recommended pooling services to get a better rate . Five stars for sure !

Contacted company for an estimate on chimney case cover , and immediately worker gave us a great cost so I secured him for the job. He surprisingly said he could do it right then. No replacement parts were given, he suggested scrubbing rust off the chimney case cover with acid and covering the chimney with white flex seal and he secured the black chimney cap. The next day I contacted the company because there was noticeable rust dripping along side the chimney that was new. I was asked to send photos which I did. They sent the same person who went up on roof and covered some of the rust again but I was not happy with the result. He was very rude and said that I probably had some inner crack in the chimney and that was where the rust was coming from and to do what I had to do as far as contacting a lawyer or Better Business Bureau. He extremely upset me. To that I replied, but you inspected it and told me my best option! My receipt clearly says there is a 3 year warranty and to date the chimney is more rusted than the initial call to them and now my new roof shingles are staining with the rust. I spoke to the company today and was told an operations manager would call me but this was the same run around I would get from them - similar to last year when the work was done. They have never sent a supervisor or anyone other than the person who did the work , named John. I cannot read his last name from the receipt. I paid $1700 for this work. The day it was done, it looked good while still drying- but then next morning and thereafter it has been problematic. I am now worried that I have bigger costs and problems to repair as a result. Update: I had another company come to do an inspection and was told after they went up on the roof that the Flex seal is all peeling and that it should never have been used as it is not rated for high heat. Flex seal was also used to pain the siding and cover up stains. Essentially they stated I need a new chase cover( which I initially assumed , hence why Shamrock was contacted), roof shingles to be replaced ( on a roof that was replaced two years go) and replacement of some siding. All of this could have been avoided if shamrock truly inspected the chimney and did the work that was needed from the get go . Entire company is unprofessional and I urge none to simply stay from them. I will end with this- a few hours up on the roof, a run to our local Ace hardware by their worker for cans of Flex seal and a charge of $1,700 - total rip off and the most inadequate work!

Weâ ve always had excellent service from this chimney service company - from the installation of our wood stove to answering questions to annual chimney cleanings. Mike and the team are great!

The entire back chimney was tuck pointed, sprayed with chim-saver and the flashing was resealed. The chimney looks great from the outside. Had two torrential rainstorms the day after the job was completed and there was no water visible on the chimney in the attic. Thank you very much for an efficient job!!! I will refer Shamrock Chimney to anyone who asks.

Our technician Cory was professional and thorough, he arrived on time and quickly diagnosed and described our solution. Having a large repair is stressful enough. Cory allayed our worries and went through all the steps that he was taking to repair our chimney, no question was deemed a dumb question and he provided us with photos from "up top" so that we knew that the work he said he was doing was done. How I wish I had required that from other contractors. Cory was here when he said he would be and he dealt with the repairs on a day when ice and snow kept us inside but didn't phase him. Most telling, our dogs loved him as well! The office staff was responsive and helped us with our billing and gave us a way to manage the large unexpected expense. We would recommend his work and Shamrock to all.
