I hired Shamrock to replace the caps and re-point my two chimneys. Although they were pleasant to work with, the job proved to be poor. I encountered leaks and major damage ensued. I ended up spending twice the amount that I paid Shamrock to replace and repair their job. I had to hire a new company to dismantle their entire work re-do the entire job. Shamrock never responded to my messages, the damage and ultimately ghosted me. Red flag and do not hire this company.

They basically stole my money. My chimney was leaking, Shamrock C C, Inc. came, an estimate was given to install new cap and seal bricks, they came, did something on the roof, and said everything was done. The chimney was still leaking, I went up on the roof and noticed the old flashing was only paint over, the cap was not wide enough so to make it fit they broke a pipe to sit cap on top and damaged concrete. I complained to them again, they want to replace the cap and fix everything but they want to charge me again for that job and now they say they will not return my calls. I do not trust that the contractor will be able to fix it.

The repairman came back today and added some more silicone to the flashing, and for the work done, it is very overpriced. $250 to add silicone to the flashing is very overpriced. I see no need for this price, as it should have been part of the repainting fee.

Very easy to work with plan and understand the scope of what was wanted price was honest and fair work was performed efficiently and cleaned up after leaving the work area cleaner than how they found it. The work performed was photographed and verbally verified by the actual employee doing the work.
