Creative Contours Landscape Design

My yard was completely overgrown with poison ivy in several places. It took Jen’s team two full days to remove years of overgrowth - 120 yards of debris. They were quick, efficient, and thorough. I am so pleased with the results and looking forward to the next phase of our project. Many thanks to Jen and her team at Creative Contour Landscape Design.

It was above expectations. A well thought out design. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and shows in the product she puts out. Her crew is very hard working, very clean before and after the job even during. Outstanding.

Creative Contour was the best decision we could have made. Jen was wonderful to work with and we got exactly what we wanted and what we expected. The design mock up really helped to visualize what the final product would look like and Jen keep us updated as the project progressed and provided her expert opinion to ensure we would be happy for years to come. We will definitely be using Creative Contour for our next project.

Creative Contours delivered more than we expected, more than they promised, and they have followed up to make sure we are fully satisfied. They corrected and vastly improved some earlier landscaping by other professionals, installed a new patio and walkway, created new and expanded beds, and beautified our entire property. We are very happy with this outfit, from the owner to the crew. They are all very professional, and they know what they are doing. They showed up when they said they would, worked long, hard hours, and were very accommodating to our requests as the work proceeded. They were a pleasure to deal with, from start to finish (even though we have to continue resisting Jennifer's insistence that we move our clothesline; we think it is beautiful where it is!)

Jennifer, Steve, and crew were great! We had trees removed, slopes regraded, drainage fixed, grass reseeded, and plant beds redesigned. Jennifer is very responsive, and she took the time to select plants with us at the nursery. She had beautiful ideas of how to redesign our yard, including gorgeous pavers. The crew arrived on time, cleaned up, and were very courteous of our neighbors. We received several compliments on how nice our yard looks now. Jennifer has been available for all of our follow-up questions and concerns. Overall, Creative Contours was very professional, and I would not hesitate to hire again.

Jen and Steve are so great! They are fast and efficient and very responsive. Their crew does amazing work and are very nice! We could not be more happy with the transformation our yard went through thanks to creative contour. We have a very large new patio, retaining wall, flower beds, grass, trees...just amazing! I would absolutely recommend them and will definitely use them for future projects!

Excellent, Jennifer was awesome to work with. Not only did she do a great redesign of the beds in the front of our house she gave us ideas for the entire house. She worked with us on our budget and maintenance needs. She put together a full design plan of our house for the future. On the demolition and replanting day, Jennifer and her crew were on time and went right to work. They even helped me or should I say I helped them blow my leaves which was behind schedule because of wet weather... that was above and beyond her scope of work with the project. The plantings look great now in hibernation... can't wait to see everything in the spring and summer.

In choosing people to work on your home, you do your research, interview different companies and then choose with a leap of faith, hoping you chose the right people for the job. I certainly did by choosing Creative Contour! I couldn't be more thrilled with the landscape design that Jenn created for the front and sides of my home. The perennial garden, walkway and retaining wall surpassed my expectations. Jenn listened to my vision and she and her team made it a reality in just six days. If you are looking for a landscape designer who is creative, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, who promptly returns your calls/text/emails, genuinely loves her work, has a thorough hard working crew AND is fun to work with then Creative Contours are the landscape designers for you. We initially contacted 2 local landscapers. Unfortunately neither returned our calls. We choose Creative Contours after reading the reviews on Home Advisor. We contacted Jennifer and received a returned call the same day. Our initial consultation involved an in depth discussion about our needs, use of the property, and budget. After our discussion Jennifer walked around our yard taking photos. She returned at an agreed time, was very prompt, even calling ahead as a reminder of the appointment. Jennifer showed up with a digital photo of our property with her/our ideas superimposed on the plans. We could barely contain our excitement at what she presented. After agreeing on the plan we then scheduled a time to meet at the nursery to pick out plants. At the nursery Jennifer was like a kid in a candy store, a very knowledgeable kid I might add! Her enthusiasm and genuine love of nature was evident as we walked around the nursery choosing just the right plants/shrubs. The week our project was to begin we received numerous calls/text coordinating the schedule for plant delivery and project completion. Within one very hot day (90 degrees) she and her crew of two (Juan and Angel who are awesome) completed our backyard landscaping project. It looks amazing! We could not be happier with the completed project. We look forward to working with Creative Contour next year for our front yard project!

Excellent. Jennifer showed up on time , ready to work. She took excellent details in on what we wanted/needed, took pics and came back a week later with digital imaging, showing us in pictures, what our future yard could look like. It was impressive and amazing! I love that she is so flexible with everything, and pays exceptional attention to details. She works with you, combining her God given talent for creative design, with your heart felt desires concerning your home. I will be using her company again and highly recommend.

There is not enough space to write our praise for Jennifer Noyes and her team at Creative Contour Landscape Design. We were given the referral to Creative contour and started our research by exploring their website which included youtube videos and several pictures. Normally we always call prior clients but didn’t based on our personable first impression which included a meeting with the owner and designer of the company, Jennifer Noyes. Instantaneously, she captured our attention with her presentation of the company’s prior work and her outstanding knowledge of space, color, landscape architecture and design. She listened to exactly what our needs were as homeowners and after walking the property with us and taking photos of our house and land, she then transformed these needs into a stunning computer generated design. This included superimposing her landscape visions into a design that incorporated pictures of our property with hardscape and plantings. She worked within our budget, and took time to answer every single one of our questions (and there were a lot). Then came her team, who also impressed us greatly. The team she has working with her are meticulous, efficient, knowledgeable, careful, and treat the clients property as if it were their own. Jennifer was at the property almost daily to monitor progress and make any necessary changes. When it came time for plants, Jennifer spent a few hours with us at the nursery explaining the varieties of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees. It was as if she were speaking another language at times! Her passion, love for her career and business, and willingness to work with clients is incredible. We must give credit to Steve, Avi, Angel and Juan who have an excellent work ethic and helped to make our property beautiful on a daily basis. From the first phone call to the last foot of mulch spread, the attention to detail and professionalism displayed by this company blew us away. Jennifer’s vision for our property quickly became an unbelievable reality. As quickly as our yard transformed into an enjoyable and functional outdoor space, this company and it's team members have become like family. Creative Contours is top notch, I highly recommend them. Jen’s does the designs. I was impressed with the amount of time she spent with my wife and I getting to know our taste and how we wanted to use our backyard. The designs she provided were amazing. They were very creative and all the elements blended together perfectly. After Jen completes the design Steve takes over. He runs the project and is meticulous. He does things right. The work they did for me included replacement of a failed retaining wall. I live at the bottom of a hill and get a lot of water. With the drainage system Steve put in, the wall could probably survive a tsunami. It is not just Jen and Steve that make this a great company though. Their crew are all skillful masons who are also very polite and professional. Overall, the project far exceeded my expectations. They gave me my dream backyard. The communication was great and everything was finished on schedule and on budget. It was a pleasure working with them. I will definitely be hiring them again in the future to help with the next phases of my project.

The initial consultation had Jennifer come by and take pictures of our property. We met later, where she presented the original pictures of the house with the patio and landscaping photo-shopped in, so we had a clear picture of what the had in mind. We shopped together for the patio tile, and also for the shrubs and flowers for the landscaping. Jennifer's crew was very friendly, and Jennifer checked in often to track progress, and to make sure we were happy with how everything was turning out. The patio turned out so well, our daughter decided to hold her wedding in our backyard. We were so pleased with our first landscaping project, we contacted Jennifer again the following year to have more work done!

Creative Contours did a terrific job with our project. And four years later we still love it and everything installed as lasted and lived. Jennifer's design concept really worked for us. She effectively incorporated existing plantings and gardens into the design. What we also appreciated was that her team stuck to the schedule (although you could understand that if there was bad weather, that could always impact the project). Since installation we have enjoyed many, many hours on our great patio!

We were very happy with the process. She provided plans that included modified photos to give us a general sense of what the finished project would look like. Her crew showed up early and stayed past sun-down. They were conscientious workers, cleaning up the worksite each night. Jennifer was checking in regularly in person and on the phone. They completed the work quickly and carefully. Jennifer is a no-BS kind of person, which I appreciate. Any questions or concerns I had were easily dealt with.

We have enjoyed working with Jennifer and her workers. We just recently had a back entrance and patio done by her and everything worked out well. Jennifer makes every effort to stay intouch and let us know what was happeing when. Because we were not in a hurry to get things done we gave her some leeway but she does not take advantage. She kept us in the loop. Initially when we met with her she was a fast talker but I think this is due to nervousness. Since then we have relaxed into a more give and take relationship. She does listen and but also has strong opinions. If she feels something will not work or cheapens the project she will say so. She is very straight forward and will not beat around the bush. (haha) We first met Jennifer at a home show and had her do our front walkway, front steps, and plantings. We felt she was very straight forward and let us know what was happening so we felt everything was under control. When some plantings did not work as expected she agreed and made adjustments. As for price, it's comparable to other landscaping services. I would recommend being very specific on what your ceiling price is so that you stay within your budget otherwise there may be cost overruns to cover unexpected circumstances. Jennifer will tell you like it is, she is upfront about what to expect or what she can do for the budget. She follows through on everything inculding call backs as she has promised. This alone is worth having her since to many contractors take days to call back or never do to let you know what's happening with your project.

A lot of fast talking made us uncomfortable. Gave a $500 deposit toward work to be done. Delivered a plan for work we didn't wan't then requested another $500 to complete payment for the plan. We told them we were not satisfied with their performance and requested they return the $500 deposit. We're still waiting.
