Before the work was to be done Weise Choice became part of Bartlett Tree Experts who honored the original quote which came from Dan Weise. A 30 ton crane was necessary so they brought in Matt the Crane Operator and Expert Tree Climber/Trimmer Chris and their work was fascinating to watch. This gigantic tree was down in a day and the rest of the crew worked hard to stay on schedule with all the chipping and on ground sawing. Dan assured me that his crew would do as little damage to my lawn as possible and kept the job site safe, especially with the crane so close to the house. I would absolutely call Bartlett Tree Experts again and ask for Dan Weise. He was professional and personal that made me feel comfortable about price, safety and workmanship. They left the work area better than they found it.

Fantastic. Three man crew came by early in the morning and cut down a large Maple tree, one huge rotten leader, and a shrub. Also did significant pruning of other trees, and canopy thinning. Very nice job cleaning up everything.

We are very pleased with the project and how professionally the project was handled. We had a crew working for three days straight, with cranes and all kinds of equipment, taking out close to a dozen trees. Each day all sticks and debris were cleaned up and the crew was great in answering our questions and concerns.

I really appreciated Dan's knowledge and expertise, his good advice on trees that were overdue for thinning. It was a pleasure to work with him. I appreciated having the updates from Meagan about time. They arrived exactly when they said they would, a big crew with a lot of heavy equipment which they managed to get into place with no damage to the existing landscape. I was not there for the entire duration of the work, but it was completed in the time quoted and I felt entirely comfortable leaving them there. My only disappointment was that large, heavy logs were left way off in the woods, very hard to move to a central place for splitting since we do not have the equipment. Also some logs were left lying on a bank of evergreens. I am sure if I had called Dan he would have moved them, but I have not been available since. I would certainly recommend Weise Choice to anyone needing tree work.

I emailed provider with request for info, he emailed me back with info and asked for for my phone number. I sent him the info never heard from him again!

The owner, Dan Weise, is a licensed arborist who could answer all our questions and give us helpful information. He gave a detailed estimate for all the work to be done. The price seemed reasonable and was somewhat less than a previous estimate. On the day the work was done, Dan stayed with his workers for a large part of the time, both to work and supervise. Dan remembered what we had discussed the month before and the project was done to our satisfaction. Super nice guy. Good experience. Highly recommend.

The initial contact was prompt and professional. The proposal was received in a timely manner. Dan braved the January weather and did an excellent job. Everything stated in the estimate was done and done well. He provided clear explanations of all work and responded promptly to any questions. The customer service is superior. The price that was offered was by far the best we received from several vendors. The owner came to our house and planned the job beforehand, sharing his expertise with us. His crew showed up on time and did an outstanding job removing 11 large pine trees from the front yard. The crew was courteous and professional, and didn't waste a moment of time. When the job was done, they had even raked up all the pine needles that had fallen over the years - totally unexpected, but highly appreciated. An exceptional experience. A first-class operation.

I got three quotes for this job. This was the only company where he actually walked around my yard with me and I explained what I wanted. He also noticed the well was near one of the trees which is important to note. Other tree companies just came to my house without letting me know- that's trespassing. I fully recommend him!

Good service, good pre ice, the owner is knowledgeable of local tree issues and care. He and his workers had good safety equipment and practices in taking the dead trees down. One tree had a large leaning branch that threatened one of our storage sheds. They took the limb down safely and without incident.

I had a great experience using this tree service. Mr. Weise was extremely knowledgable and professional. After consultation and receipt of a written proposal I had them cut down three trees and treat two white birches to ward off the dreaded bronze birch borer. I had the service done whilst I was at work and upon returning home couldn't tell that they had even been there if not for the three missing trees. I will use them again and highly recommend Weise Tree Service.

Would highly recommend this company. Professional from start to finish. Not only did what they were contracted to do but pruned some dead branches that could possibly fall in the future. They have great equipment and know how to use it. As you watch them you can see that they are very safety conscious which is always on the homeowners mind. They clean as they go and do a great final clean up at the end. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. I got four quotes for the work, two more expensive and one a little less, but I went with Weise because I felt the best about our initial contact and viewing the job. The timing was a little challenging. Due to a one day delay for an equipment issue they ended up at my house at the same time my contractor to power wash the house was there. Both these contractors worked together flawlessly staying out of each others way. Daniel and his assistants first focused on trimming the tall sugar maple overhanging the house strategically removing branches to encourage growth while thinning as needed. The tree looks wonderful far enough off the house and roof and letting in more light to the area. They moved next to the other sugar maple near the road. They made quick work of climbing the tree and moving the power equipment in to begin removing dead branches and trimming the tree back from the house and road. Next they moved to the cluster of white birches. They trimmed these trees carefully to prevent weather damage for the future. When this was completed, Daniel injected the white birches to help to protect them from the borer bug. The assistants did an excellent job of cleaning up the area removing all debris. I found Daniel and his assistants to be very thorough, efficient and very approachable. They answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Weise Choice Tree Services.

A very large oak tree was in front of our house. It was so large, it could have taken out the house if it fell. We were also down hill from it. Mr. Weise was the most professional of all of the estimates we received. He wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive of all the estimates, but chose him because of his great customer service skills and professionalism. They removed this tree in 2 days and did a Quality Job! We plan to use him for all of our tree service needs in the future. In fact, we are going to have him come out and remove more trees next month.

Dan came over to the home and provided an estimate. I had other companies that also gave estimates but Dan was the only one that pointed out an additional dead tree on the property that needed to be removed, as well as another tree that needed pruningWhen I called for the estimate, he was very prompt in providing the estimate. When the estimate arrived in the mail, he also attached a certificate of liability as well. When he came to do the work, he brought (2) other gentleman that were very well dressed and uniform. They came prepared for the work and were wearing hard hats. They were extremely professional. They completed the work in a very neat and orldely fashion, always being conscious of safety issues. Upon completion of the work, they cleaned up all the wood chips and blew all dust and debris off my property. They left the work environment in a clean pristine condition. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this company, as their service is exemplary.

In July of 2013 we purchased a new home that needed extensive tree removal, pruning and care. The property had not been cared for for more than 10 years. When we contacted Dan, he called us back in less than 24 hours. He setup an appointment to meet with us to estimate the job. He reconfirmed the appointment the day before and most importantly arrived on time. Dan is a pleasure to work with, and his knowledge of tree care and maintenance provided us with the perfect plan to achieve the results we were looking for. A written estimate was provided to us in less than 24 hours. Upon our acceptance Dan scheduled us right away. Our job was scheduled for 3 days with a crew of 3 men. The entire project was seamless and far exceeded our expectations. The crew were all professional and friendly. Their work is exceptional and cleanup is so well done it is almost impossible to know that tree removal occurred. They arrived each day on time and worked tirelessly for a full day. Dan's estimate of the needed time was perfect; the work was completed 100% in 3 days. As the work was progressing, we decided to change the original plan and asked to have an additional tree removed. We also asked to have more than 7 stumps ground down. The crew was able to accommodate our additional work and still complete the job on time! We will need additional work in the fall and look forward to working with Dan and crew again. Everything went well. Mr. Weise accommodated my schedule, on very short notice, by fitting me in earlier than we originally planned. The crew of four worked professionally, efficiently, and safely from start to finish. It was enjoyable to watch, and I did. They answered questions and explained the answers. All knew what to do, when to do it, and how to do it safely. There was no need for anyone to give direction or act as a foreman. Additional on the spot requests (pruning, take out a small tree) were accommodated and I was charged a reasonable addition. In a prior life I worked in the field of Quality Assurance, Customer Satisfaction and Process Improvement, and so am condemned to analyze all commercial interactions under that light, with the goal of discovering how it might be improved. There is nothing that needs improving here. This was the first time I used a Tree Service and I wasn't sure what to expect, but I got everything I wanted.

Daniel was responsive, courteous and professional in every way. As promised, he caused minimal, if any, damage to the lawn in completing the project and left the property very tidy.

As we observed their progress, it was clear that they worked well as a team, and knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Not one member of the team was ever observed just wandering around wasting time. Everyone was busy at all times, and clearly knew what they were supposed to be doing! The overall quality of the work performed was absolutely STELLAR!!! They were, without exception, polite and respectful of us, from Daniel and his team, to Brooke in the office. They were also careful about our property in general, taking care not to dig up the lawn or leave a mess. We will, without hesitation, have them back here again and again! If you want tree work done, this is your go-to company!!
