The installation was great! The two men came when they said they would, finished the process quickly and cleanly. I really like them.

Called right away after purchasing to set up date to clean.

The installer checked things that he didn't even need to. He checked for a leak and found the source. They also put silicone in a cracked windowsill. After the work, we found a storm had damaged the corner of our house. They came to look at it, replaced a piece of wood, and were very nice about it. They were so curtious and they couldn't have been more helpful. Mike is so easy to get in touch with, and his response time is extremely quick. I would highly recommend them.

Mike Wood came out within a few weeks of my initial contact with his office. All work was done well, including repair of any deficient parts of the entire roof gutter system.

They make a gross job look easy. They came out right away. They knock on the door and let me know that they are here, which I really like. They brought five guys and they had it done in less than an hour. They do show up on their own time. They do call and let me know that they are on their way. They do their thing and then they are gone. Once I place the order they come right out. I did not even know that they had been there. The gutters are impeccable. I will continue to use them.

Went very well. They returned a month later when I had a concern which turned out to be nothing. Very professional, nice equipment on their truck. Installers answered all questions.

HE ARRIVED ON TIME ON THE 7TH GOT RIGHT TO WORK & COMPLETED THE WORK WE AGREED ON IN MY ANGIES LIST REQUEST. HE DID SUCH A GOOD JOB, I ASKED HIM IF HE COULD DO TWO MORE GUTTER INSTALLATIONS. HE SAID OF COURSE & WENT RIGHT TO WORK ON THE OTHER TWO PROJECTS. WHEN IT CAME TO THE FINAL PART OF HIS WORK, HE DISCOVERED THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE CORRECT COLOR ELBOWS ON HIS TRUCK. WE MADE PLANS FOR HIS RETURNING ON THE 10TH TO FINISH. ON THE 10TH, HE SHOWED UP RIGHT ON TIME, FINISHED UP HIS WORK IN NO TIME AT ALL & WENT ON HIS WAY. THE MEN THAT DID THE JOB WERE ESXTREMELY COURTEOUS & PROFESSIONAL. IN FACT, HE IS DUE HERE ON THE 21ST TO DISCUSS SOME FURTHER WORK. IWHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE NEEDING GUTTER WORK..

Spoke with owner on 12/3/13 to schedule gutter cleaning and installation of pre-purchased hot wires to prevent ice dam build-up. We agreed he could perform job within 2-3 weeks but would get back to me with exact date. Never heard back. Now we have ice dams and water leakage through the ceiling. Shame on me for not following up with someone else, but I held off throughout December fully expecting Wood and Wood to do the work.

In November 2013 I called Wood & Wood in response to an Angies List deal offering. On November 8th a Wood & Wood estimator looked at the work and quoted $2090.40 for the job. The estimator was polite and seemed knowledgeable. I felt good about things so signed a contract and gave the estimator a $690.40 deposit. Wood & Wood was backlogged but promised to do the work the "second week of December or sooner if possible." The second week in Decembar came and went, no word from Wood & Wood. By this time we were too busy with the holidays to chase around Wood & Wood. December came and went. The second week in January came and went, by which time it was the dead of winter. I called Wood & Wood to ask for a refund, thinking that if this is how they treat a customer on an installation job I can only imagine how long it woud take them to do any kind of service work. The fact that they did not call even once after taking the deposit was also troubling and I wondered if the company might have other issues going on besides just being slow and non-communicative. Or perhaps they underbid the job and hoped I would cancel the contract. I'll never know. Mike Wood was very professional when I requested a refund in mid-January, apologized for "losing track of some customers in December" and issued the refund immediately. I have very mixed feelings about this transaction. The company seems "OK" based on others' feedback, and my experience on the quote and refund was satisfactory. But that doesn't change the fact that they never called, never showed up, and I still have no gutters. I have no idea how to rate that experience but the outcome was a fail. The lesson learned here is that if you take advantage of an Angies list deal from Wood & Wood, plan on pestering them to make sure they remember you and are going to show up when they say. Figure on that being "your job" if you want the job done. I am updating this review to comment on the provider's response. The reason we wanted the work done when promised was BECAUSE winter was approaching and we did NOT want "weather" to become an issue. This was made quite clear to the estimator. Our property sustained damage which we now have to repair, thanks to the job not being done so I'm not going to let this get chalked up to a weather delay. The only reason the weather became an issue is because the provided did not show up by the date the work was promised to be done. Prior to then the weather was not the problem. We pointed out the importance of timeliness and weather to the provider, they're the ones who let things go until the weather got bad.

They were good. Their mannerism was kind and they did a very thorough job. I was cleaning my own gutters for a long time and they did as good a job as I did. I would recommend them. They showed up on time. They made a commitment and they were here. They did it in less time than they thought and they were done. The price was excellent and very competitive. We have their card and we would use them in the future.

They came and did the gutters and I was not home. I have no idea if they did a good job or not because I cannot see. They were timely though. My experience with them was good. They were quick and responsive. They said they would come out and they came right out so that was the main thing. Because I got the deal, that was a good price.

I placed my Big Deal with Angie's List and received a phone call the next morning. We scheduled the work to be done for the week of November 18, 2013 I gave him the option to pick what was best for him, as long as it was done that week, weather permitting.They showed up first thing Monday morning of the 18th. Just like before, they were very professional, extremely clean and very friendly. The first time I had contracted Wood & Wood they replaced downspouts,and advised me that three did not need replacement ,only a good clean out which he did. He did not charge me extra in fact he saved me money ! While he was replacing a downspout he noticed the bracket to my window box was missing a screw, he went above and beyond by drilling in a new screw. I highly recommend Wood & Wood This review is late due to medical issue...

On the day they were initially scheduled to arrive they did not show up and apologized. They came out within a week of the original scheduled appointment. The quality of the work was excellent.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did the job when I wasn't here so I never really met them. It was okay. They left the windows a mess but they cleaned the gutters. I didn't spend any extra. I wouldn't have them back. The price was okay but I didn't compare it. They came when they said and the gutters were clean but they left a mess.

It went great. They were responsive and although I purchased the big deal in summer, I asked them not to clean gutters until after fall which they did. I Highly recommend.

We have used them before and the deal turned out great. They do what they say they are going to do. I was not here when they did the work, but I could see that the gutters were cleaned out well. They are very good with scheduling. The owners are also easy to work with and their prices are reasonable.

They cleaned up any messes that they’ve made. I chose them because they have a leaf guard system that I wanted. They were very professional. When I tried to get a hold of them, the lady that I contacted was kind of rude. I guess they don’t have an office for personnel who are responding to phone calls so you have to leave a voicemail. It was regarding the payment if they have already reached them and I just want to confirm something but the lady was very rude. It was a different attitude than when she came out to sell you the product. The guys who installed the gutters were very nice. They were kind of pricy.

Being a very busy crew, it took a while for the installation appointment, but the work completed was well done in a professional manner. Had a minor issue with the crew showing when I was not home when I requested that they contact me and I be home for the install. Also initially had an issue with not all the work being completed and being told to still pay for more work than was done, but the owner Mike quickly contacted me and cleared everything up in a professional and courteous manner, which I appreciated. Therefore, I would use this company again and recommend them to others.

Unfortunately, they couldn't remove the gutter guards which prevented them from doing any of the work. The owner called to inform me of this and offered to apply the money I paid for the Big Deal toward the installation of new gutters. However, I chose not to participate in this offer.

It was fine, but frankly it hasn’t rained enough for me to know if the gutters covers that were installed work.

Mike was great to deal with! He responded to my emails and my phone calls within minutes, or no later than within an hour. He provided all necessary information I needed for my housing association. Once we got the approval, the leaf guard product was installed within the week. Great response time! The installation was very well done. Now that the foliage season is over, I can endorse that the product kept my gutters clean of any kind of debris. I love it! No more concern of any kind. The product is designed to reject any little piece of debris from entering the gutter. The leaf guard product does not handle torrential, heavy downpours of rain too well. In fairness, I don't think any leaf guard system would be able to handle the heavy downpours we've gotten over the last few months in CT. I called Mike about this and he sent out a technician to double-check and ensure the product was installed properly. It was. The leaf guard system handles regular levels of rainfall without concern. Bottom line: I'm happy with the leaf guard system, and Mike and his company are honest, wonderful people to work with.

They were very quick to respond and come out. They were very professional and courteous. There was a little confusion involved with scheduling as I was not expecting them this morning. They saw my concern and understood where I was coming from but they never pushed anything. They offered to come back a different time if I needed it, but I figured they were already there so I let them do the work.

They were late, but they called to informed me and that was okay.
