It went fantastic. Mr. Wood was very pleasant and very professional. From the get-go he contacted me promptly when I first contacted the company. He came when he said he would. He gave us a quote promptly. He had no problem with the fact that my husband needed some time to remove our old gutters and downspouts and also replace and paint the fascia. Then his crew arrived. They came when they said they would,they preformed their work diligently, professionally and efficiently. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat !

They came, cleaned and were gone. Just what I wanted.

I asked for a certificate of insurance which I promptly received. I told the contact person that some of the gutters had covers on them and could they remove the section above the downspouts to make sure they were not blocked. They arrived on time and went about their work but I don't believe they removed the cover over the downspouts because there was still low flow down the spouts when the next rain occurred. They picked up most of the debris but left leaved and debris on the front porch roof. Not sure I would use them again or refer them.

Approximately at 9 a.m. my doorbell rang and I heard hammering on my roof. When I opened the door, I was surprised to see a Wood &Wood truck in front of my house. Since no one was on the porch, I called out and a man appeared and said they were cleaning my gutters. I responded that I requested the service be performed in October.. His said the date on the work order was marked with a "10" so they thought it was the 10th of the month. I am not sure how this happened, but he said they were on the roof now and he would report the date mixup to the office. They spent about 10 minutes,on the roof, pounding in some gutter nails, but did not rinse the gutters and downspouts. My house is not large and I only have 2 short gutters on either side,and 3 longer ones (over the front porch and part of the back porch and along a portion of the rear of the house. They were finished in about 10 minutes and left without another word or leaving any paperwork as to the condition of the gutters.

Really no story to tell. I called, they came and did the work within 2 days of my call. They put a sign in the yard which I was more than happy to display and left it for a month. The job they did was great. The only thing they did not do that I thought they were going to was give me an estimate on replacing the gutters with better ones that are covered.

I emailed Mike Wood and he responded quickly to my first email. Within a day he had a crew out to my house replacing my back gutter. Everything looked fine. On Sunday, September 2, 2012 after a heavy rainfall, I had a problem with the gutter. I emailed Mike on Wednesday and he immediately came out to see what the problem was. As it turned out the downspout was clogged. Mike was very professional and told me what the problem was and cleaned out the downspout. I would recommend Mike to friends and family without hesitation. Very prompt, reasonable and pleasant to deal with.

I shopped around. I looked at going through Costco, Gutter Maxx and a few locals contractors from Angie's List. I used weneedgutters.com to contact them and got a response in an hour or two. We set up a time for getting an estimate. Mike arrived and did the measurements and came up with a couple of prices based on 2 x 3 or 3 x 4 downspouts. Mike showed me a sample of the product and explained my options. After getting all the quotes I selected Wood & Wood because of the AL rating and price. The work was scheduled about a week out. I barely saw the crew as I headed out. When I returned home I was very happy with the installation. Everything was done just as one would expect. First class job and professionalism start to finish.

I took advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal, and got a gutter cleaning/tune up. I scheduled the service via email and the response was very prompt. The workmen showed up just when they said they would, and swarmed all over my house with their ladders and buckets. They cleaned the gutters in about half an hour and took away all the debris instead of just tossing it out onto the ground. They also reattached several of my downspouts. The man I talked to was very friendly even though it was sweltering hot that day. He told me my gutters were probably good for a few more years, but would need replacing eventually. which was not surprising, since they're 20-25 years old and I haven't been great at having them cleaned regularly. I would definitely call them again to clean the gutters and probably to replace them when that actually needs to be done.

they came, they cleaned, they left (service was performed during the work week when we weren't home---which we liked). i purchased the cleaning on angie's list and then Michael contacted me via email. He said they would clean the gutters within 2 weeks, and that I would not hear from him except from perhaps a flyer they would leave behind, unless there was something wrong. the gutters were cleaned and most of the gutter debris was removed (99%). i would definitely recommend them, and would use them again. -jessica

He is a true professional and I really was most impressed with him and the quality of his work. He took time to answer all my questions, efficient about finishing in timely manner and probably left the area cleaner than when he started! The Wood and Wood installer arrived within minutes of when he said he would be at my home, explained how he was going to approach the removal and replacement of all my gutters and went about the task. The job was completed almost to the minute that had been estimated. The workman was courteous, friendly and professional. The replaced gutters and leaf guards look great. The workman also did a couple of little extras by adding some modified and improved downspout configurations. All discarded materials were removed and the workman carefully inspected the property to insure that nothing was left behind. And all was done at the job cost estimate.

Mike was excellent to work with. He replied promptly to my call for an estimate and we set up a mutual time to meet. He arrived on time, was very pleasant, and gave me an estimate after taking measurements. After a couple of days I contacted him to go ahead with the work ans he and his crew arrived a few days later. Work was efficient, crew was pleassant and poite, and all work done well. I would happily work with this company again.

They did what they came to do and it Came out looking nice.

The crew arrived on time, were responsive, efficient and neat replacing two sections of seamless gutters and a downspout which is what we had contracted for. A leak developed in an old connection and they returned and replaced that portion and all is great. We would definitely recommend them and should the need arise, contract with Mike Wood and their company again.

After he came to the house, he was supposed to leave a notice that they were there. Supposedly, I didn't need to be there. On the 23rd, I asked him if anyone came out. He assured me that someone was there. I purchased a Big Deal for a gutter tune-up and cleaning, which is what I thought my gutters needed. I had installed a temporary fix of stones to aid with the flow of water. They removed my temporary fix. Apparently, what I really needed was a gutter replacement. This did not resolve the issue and I had to replace the stones to help with the flow. So, the work was completely pointless. He apologized and said he'd get back to me. He said that he could rebuild the system and pitch it properly for $2,000. This was after I communicated with him that they needed fixed. Basically, they removed my temporary fix and didn't fix my gutters. The gutters didn't need cleaned because I had to replace the stones that were in the gutters in the first place. He could've told me that the gutters need repaired, but he waited until after I paid him to clean the gutters unnecessarily.

They did an excellent job. We didn't even expect that the side downspout would be replaced, but they included in the buy now deal!

This was big deal coupon from Angie's List. They were all right. It was two guys on a ladder. They cleaned out the lower gutters. They did not do a heck of a lot on our house because we have a lot of leaf guards and they do not do ones with leaf guards. I won't use them again.

I contacted Mike Wood because of the good reviews on Angie's list. The reviews are accurate because it was easy to set up an appointment just a few days from my initial phone call. The workman I spoke to was cordial, prompt, and he worked with another to man to complete the job in just over an hour.There was absolutely no debris left behind. I am pleased with the service and intend to use this company for yearly gutter cleaning.

Originally contacted Wood and Wood because of the Gutter Cleaning coupon they offered on Angie's List and I am so glad I did. Mike(Owner) called me the same day of my email within a few minutes of sending the email. I was looking for more then a Gutter Cleaning as I had gutter damage that needed to be replaced and I wanted to know more about leaf protection. Mike made an appointment for the same week, came out did a full inspection and gave me a very fair quote to replace two sections of Gutter, add a downspout, clean and align the existing gutters. I scheduled the work.....his crew arrived on time, got right to work and had the job completed very quickly. The work was top notch, very clean. I am very happy and strongly recommend them. Great Company.

They arrived when they said they would, finished the job quickly, told us our gutters were in great shape and needed no work (which should be true because another company replaced them a year ago) and left.

I saw the big deal for $89 Gutter cleaning and tune-up on Angie's List and decided I would give Wood and Wood a try. I received the confirmation from Angie's List and figured I would contact Mike in a few days. He contacted me the next business day with an estimated date of service as well as what to expect. I was impressed that he contacted me so quickly. He noted that service may be delayed due to the big deal but it turns out his guys were in my area and were able to complete the gutter cleaning and tune-up within a week. Mike was responsive to questions I had before they came out and I received an email to confirm the work was complete. When I got home I saw the crew had done a great job cleaning up and everything looked great! Mike was very responsive and professional and I would definitely go back to Wood and Wood if I need anything done to my gutters in the future.

They were prompt and did a great job. They repaired the gutters and made suggestions for replacement. I will give them a call when I'm ready for new gutters.
