+ -1 moreWe've done a lot of work with Charlie Dainton in the past and would never think of contacting anyone else. We set a date for him to work with us, and he arrived on time as planned. He spent a great deal of time working with us on our laundry list of issues, providing ideas, completing what he could while he was here, and setting a course for future visits to complete other projects. He also recommended that we outsource the fire alarm system work to a company that specializes in this area. As usual, he was very thorough, explained everything to us very clearly, and charged us very fairly for only his "on the clock" work. He's a great guy to know and work with!
Description of Work: Performed repairs on multiple outlets throughout the house, did an assessment of power usage in the kitchen compared to power available and made suggestions for adding additional circuits, assessed spotlight placement and relocation and subsequently contacted us about potential fixtures to buy, discussed replacing existing fire alarm system, and installed a new thermostat timer for the heating system. He was here all day and did a great job.

+ -1 moreI would recommend him, but he might drive some people crazy. He is so meticulous and very slow, but he will find anything that is wrong. That could be a good or bad thing for some people. We have used him many times over the years. He has never had to come back and redo any of the work he has ever done. He is right to the letter when it comes to codes so there are no shortcuts. He is very good at what he does.
Description of Work: We use Dainton Electric for all of our electrical repairs.
