Joe and Charley did a terrific job! Joe and his partner Charley did an impeccable job remodeling our main floor. We interviewed five other contractors and all the prices were the close to the same. We picked JAZ because Joe was so honest he told us many ways we could save money on our job which was really different from the other contractors. Plus they do most of the work themselves which we liked because we knew who would be in our house when we were working. When they would leave for the day they left the premises really clean. In the kitchen they set us up with a sink, plus made sure that our stove, refrigerator and microwave were working so that when we came home from work we could cook and do the dishes. Their work was just so wonderful and our house is so beautiful. They are very professional but very friendly and were just nice to have in our home. We have two rather spoiled dogs that they let hang out upstairs while they worked and took them out. Our dog Tank still looks for Joe and Charley to come over. They removed our kitchen wall into the dining room, new kitchen cabinets, new sink, new counter top, new backsplash which looks like a piece of art! Joe did a great job! I really never thought I would have a home that looks this good. They also installed new doors, and all the trim which totally changed the house. They installed crown molding, and replaced all radiators. Charley does a wonderful job with trim work. Everything was perfect, professional and just great. We will have them back to remodel our bathroom. Please hire them for all your remodeling jobs you will not be disappointed!

J.A.Z. is not the lowest-priced contractor, but we now know they are the best. We had 4-5 other contractors give us estimates, and they came in at a little over half the cost of J.A.Z. When we looked at the breakdown, though, we saw that the other contractors did not give us a comprehensive estimate of everything that actually needed to be done. For the price, J.A.Z. was going to do everything (and do it right). No surprises. Another thing is that Joe Locascio is the owner of J.A.Z., and Joe is the one doing the work alongside his business partner Charlie. This is a primary reason that we hired J.A.Z. If the owner is doing the work, the owner's name is on the job and there is no one above him pressuring him to hurry up and get to the next job. We truly liked Joe and Charlie! They are hard-working, decent, honest people. With J.A.Z., you don't have to worry or wonder what lower-tier subcontractor might get sent into your home to do the work. The owner and his business partner do all the work with the exception of the wallpaper subcontractor (who was very good) and a carpet expert who spent about 20 minutes working on the threshold area (he was also very good). Joe and Charlie were extremely professional, courteous, and neat during the entire project. We trusted them to be alone in our home when we were at work, and there were no problems whatsoever. They were mindful of keeping our pets in the house. They were in our home a total of 9.5 days. (The project would not have taken this long normally, but we messed up several things during our do-it-yourself phase, which J.A.Z. fully corrected.) They taped down a layer of cardboard in our master bedroom, covered with painting tarps, which extended into the hallway. Also, they put down heavy plastic on the stairway going downstairs in order to keep our carpets clean. They cleaned up thoroughly every night so that construction was not any more stressful for us than it had to be. At the end, Joe himself was vacuuming our stairway, ensuring every last bit of debris was gone. Another thing is that Joe and Charlie constantly speak of "making it right" and "making it 100%." That is 100% true. They do make everything 100% right. Issues came up along the way, and they were taken care of. We had a minor drainage problem (on a connected sink on the other side of the wall) after the project was done, and they came back timely to make it right. They will not leave anyone high and dry. This is a professionally run, decent, honest business - which, let's face it, can be hard to find these days! We were very pleased and impressed. The work quality is excellent. You can tell that Joe is a perfectionist. There is not one stray bit of paint or grout or wallpaper where it should not be. Everything looks fantastic and is of the highest quality and professionalism. We really are very happy with the results. We have a gorgeous, new master bathroom. We plan to use J.A.Z. for our next project and recommend them highly. Thank you, Joe and Charlie! :)

The front storm door needed to be reversed and a new one insatalled. They did a great job on the door and framing and selected a beautiful durable product. The basment entry door from the garage was only 6 feet tall so, it had to be custom made due to its size. They had a strong fire safe door manufatured and they installed it impeccebly. Overall, I would recormmed and, would use them again.

They do quality work. The only negative is from the plumber they use. Promises to show up tomorrow morning and that day never comes. Job delayed because of him.

Joe is an honest, punctual and creative contractor. He over sees all aspects of the project from pulling permits to over seeing sub-contractors. Joe treats your project as if it was being completed in his own home. Interview some, but your final choice will surley be Joe Locascio.
