Bottom line: I thought they did a very good job ("A" for quality) at a very reasonable price. And everyone was pleasant to work with. Complaints? Only a couple. They sent over summer help at the end of the summer who was clearly not into the job. The first job ended up 2-1/2 days late. But not only did they send over people on the weekend to try to expedite things (I was impressed!), they - and this is the important thing - did not cut corners on quality while honoring the price quoted. The second job started two days later than expected and finished in three days, instead of two. There were reasons, of course, but it is frustrating when you make plans based on expected job completion. I was also a little frustrated because I expected that the job included wiping down the walls at the end, as I had told them, "ready to be painted". I should have said something when I was asked if I was satisfied (and I believe they might have sent someone over to correct it), but the truth is that I WAS satisfied overall and it only took me an hour to wipe down the walls. No biggie, really! The couple of complaints took more explanation than my positive comments, but make no mistake that I was pleased with the results and would hire them again. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Fresh Coat. When looking at my ratings, take into consideration that I am a "hard grader". But I gave them an "A" for quality; and in my mind, that's the most important thing.

The wallpaper came down harder than expected in the bedroom and walls needed repair, we negotiated a fair price for the repairs. They were punctual, and stayed late to finish in time because the repairs made it take longer than expected. They did a professional job, the place looks great, ready to have them back for the rest of the house!

They arrived on time, and went quickly about their work, they knew what they were doing, protected the siding from spray, and cleaned all that black mold off the railings and ceiling which were never painted. I would recommend them highly.

The painter who did the work was great. Showed up on time and did a professional job. Having to deal with the office staff was challenging. While not completely incompetent, they were not the most helpful or knowledgeable of their job (I guided them through the process).

I hired Fresh Coat again to paint my master bedroom of my new home, the walls were purple and green with some faux curtains painted on. The crew was punctual, very neat, stayed until job was complete. I was thrilled to have the room neutralized in one day, needed two coats of paint on the ceiling and in some places the walls needed to be sanded and 3 coats to cover the faux. Can't even tell that it was ever there.

Joe was punctual and courteous and attentive to my needs and concerns. We had him power wash the deck and then apply stain. His crew was professional, they cleaned up after themselves and they were neat and clean while working, pleasant to deal with. Price quoted was what we paid, they arrived when scheduled and when we had several days of rain they were in communication with us so we knew when to expect them. Overall pleasant experience.

Used a coupon for two rooms of interior painting and wall paper removal in one room. Wallpaper removal and wall prep were outstanding. Most of the painting was very good. One employee ignored instructions and painted trim in room #1 that was not to be painted using the trim paint that was used in room #2. And he did not even complete the trim painting in room #1. The same employee spent a lot of time talking and not paying attention (obviously) to his work. He also complained a lot about previous customers. And to top it off- he washed his brushed in my bathroom sink and got watered-down paint all over the place in that room. Sorry that the one employee detracted from the great work of the others but I am still finding evidence of his work in that bathroom where he washed his brushes. I did tell the manager and he credited me a little $- I didn't have time to let them correct the erroneously painted trim. He also said he had had other complaints about this troublesome employee. Guess I wonder why he waited for him to anger me before dealing with it.

The team was great. Picking the colors was the most strenuous part on my part - they did all the rest. My walls needed a ton of prep work due to nail pops, holes, etc., and they found and fixed practically every one - that took them almost an entire day in itself. Their attention to the prep work is exactly why I hired a professional. The paint job is top notch and I am in love with the trim - it's never looked better. I'm most impressed that they were able to blend in the area of the repair on my popcorn ceiling - I know that is not something easily done. The prior repair was horrible - it stuck out like a sore thumb. Now, nobody knows there was ever a problem. I'm so impressed with Fresh Coat - I definitely plan to use them when I paint the other rooms in my house and for staining the deck - just one project at a time due to budgeting, unfortunately.

Excellent! Eric Stavropoulos came at the appointed time, looked over the work, then provided an estimate and references. Once we accepted his bid, he returned to review the quote and provided color samples. After we narrowed down our choices, he came again and painted sample strips of the colors so that we could see what they would look like on the walls. On the day the job was supposed to start, his crew showed up on time and prepared the rooms so that the furniture, etc. was protected from the wet paint. They even took down the plates from above my kitchen cabinets for me! Eric Paulus, the foreman was very professional, helpful and friendly. The whole crew worked neatly and got the job done on time. Everything was returned to its original positions and the results looked wonderful. Overall, a great experience.
