Repair was completed , the tech. dis a great job. It was pricey, but the quality work was great.

I scheduled service with them online at 11am on Friday. Even received a confirmation email for a Monday appointment. When I called on Monday around 10-11 to find out when I was going to be seen, the call taker had to book me from scratch. Strike One. As a person, Vinny is a very nice and personable guy. When I booked the service call, I specifically mentioned that I had troubleshot the dishwasher down to the power control board. Vinny arrived at the end of the four hour window that I had taken off work for, repeated the troubleshooting that I had done (ok, fine) and agreed with dead control board. He then told me that the board was no longer made. (The dishwasher is 2 years old to the month) Said that the office could cut me a deal on a new one if I was interested, charged me the $127 service call fee, and left. Strike Two. This just didn't make sense to me, so I dug around online, found the parts breakdown for the dishwasher, found the actual part I needed (the programmed control board) vs the not available UNPROGRAMMED control board which was the part that he'd pulled up, ordered it direct from Bosch for $126 and installed it this evening. Dishwasher works great. Strike Three. This is quite possibly the most useless "service call" that I've had for anything in my adult life. If I were less questioning, I would have thrown out a perfectly repairable $1000 dishwasher due to lousy parts lookup. UNSAT. NOTE: I don't generally believe in shooting someone without providing a chance to fix themselves. This feedback was provided directly in their customer survey a week ago, but since they chose to not follow up with me, hopefully others can learn from my mistake.

Tom B was great. - came out three times in total, always very punctual and friendly. He had a lot of knowledge about our situation of the fridge not getting cold anymore even though it was only a few years old. The entire process went very smoothly and our fridge seems back to normal after replacing a fan. Tom was very upfront about all the charges associated with every step, so nothing came as a surprise. Would recommend and use again!

Paul H. Came right on time fixed the problem in no time. This is the second time he has fixed an appliance at my home. A plus service from a great company. Don't hesitate to call them.

This company is not an authorized Viking repair service provider, but their website is incredibly misleading. Even here, on Angie's List, they claim to repair Viking appliances. DO NOT LET THEM NEAR YOUR VIKING APPLIANCE! Since I was told over the phone that they do repair Viking refrigerators, I assumed they knew what they were doing. Food in my fridge was freezing and the ice cubes had a funny color, smell, and taste. They tried changing the water fill valve, thermistor, and later the low voltage board. None of these things resolved the problems. After 7 visits and $850 later, the issue with my fridge was still not resolved and I was told that I should contact Viking directly. I explained that I was under the impression that Action Appliance was the local service provider for Viking. They said there was nothing more they could do. I finally figured out who the actual authorized service provider was. That person came out and fixed both problems for $550. It took 2 visits. Initially, Action Appliance was willing to cover some of that cost ($240), but I never heard from them again after many attempts via phone and email to get reimbursed for the remainder. This company does not stand by their 100% money back satisfaction guarantee.

The work was done properly. Larry the technician arrived on time, was pleasant and engaging to speak to with, answered my questions about the best way to clean the range's ovens, he performed the repairs quickly and courteously. The price was exactly what was quote and a great value. I could not be happier.

They arrived & took the dryer apart completely & confirmed that the front panel was dead. They contacted LG to inquire about replacement parts and price & then gave helpful suggestions.

Exceptionally well. The serviceman, Paul, and the office staff were all very responsive and professional. The service man arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered a repair part. It arrived two days later an was installed a couple of days after that. The whole experience was handled professionally and the ice maker is working perfectly. A special commendation to Paul for his quick knowledgeable repair and congenial attitude.

My refrigerator could not build ice and the temperature was no cold enough. So I called the AAction Appliance for repair. They immediately send the technician on same day. The technician came and told to replace some parts and after rebate it would be 469$. So ordered it. After he left, I tried to remove the cord for an hour and then put the cord back. The refrigerator starts working since then and had never have problem. The technician did not know and making to order expensive parts and labor costs. Also I researched the parts are approximately 80$ in Amazon, though I did not required those parts, as my refrigerator is working perfectly fine. SO I called back to cancell the parts after 3 hours. They mentioned they will charge service call charge +additional parts restocking fee and remaining portion they will credited to my credit card. After one week they have returned the remaining money.

Able to get an appointment quickly and technician arrived in time. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty seal in dispenser for the ice maker. The cost to repair was going to be a few hundred dollars. Considering the fridge is 10 years old and we don't use the ice dispenser, we elected not to fix. We then got a high pressure pitch to fix and it really made my husband and I uncomfortable, especially considering he got paid to diagnose. He made it sound like it was only a matter of time before we'd be calling back. We kept saying no. After the encounter it got me thinking and I realized my son (age 2) loved hitting the various buttons on the dispenser, which made me wonder if he had confused the system and that's why the dispense wasn't closing. I hit the dispenser button one more time and observed it close snugly. Then I watched my son like a hawk around it until I felt confident he wouldn't bother it anymore. Fast forward a few days and the frost was gone. Fast forward a few months and it's still gone. We never had to stuff a towel in the dispenser or call them back for repairs. It makes me question their expertise. He diagnosed the part that was the problem, but was way off on the solution (saying we needed a new unit, etc.). Overall very disappointed in the experience.

He got the work done in a timely manner and took the time to explain to me how refrigeration systems worked and exactly why I was experiencing the problem I had. Great ambassador for your company.

I called A Action Appliance repair, the girl who scheduled the appointment was very nice. She told me I would be taken care of first thing in the morning, wow thanks I said and I was, the tech showed up by 8:15 a.m. In 8 minutes he had diagnosed the problem as a bad compressor and maybe a control board but wasn't completely sure. I told him I looked up the compressor online and found it for $177-$258 dollars he then called his supervisor and the supervisor told him $1500.00 for the repair and I asked what the break down was for labor, parts/ freon then he said plus labor? Plus $175.00 WOW, so AS he was leaving I asked do you have a break down he said NO ITS A FLAT RATE, whaaat, so I guess they really don't want to do the repairs and just take your money ($119.95) +tax for the service fee and guessing if the mother board is bad or not or spending the short amount of time going from home to home collecting $120 each and every Time WOW what a racket. The tech told me most of the fee is reclaiming the old Freon, REALLY I have a a/c certification for automotive (R12) (R134A) and I have never heard of such a thing and I was a manager of a MIDAS auto service center. Go figure

After researching appliance repair, I decided on Action Appliance. When I called, I spoke with Chris and he was incredibly courteous. He was also quite accommodating in making sure that a technician was able to visit that same day. Tom was the technician who came (toward the beginning of the window I was given!). He was incredibly professional, courteous, and did a great job. The problem is now fixed, and my butter isn't soft!! Highly recommended.

The repairman (Larry) needed to come back several times because it was a complex problem on a fridge that is no longer manufactured (it's only about 8 years old but it's a built-in with custom cabinetry so it's a big expensive fridge that I didn't want to have to replace). Also parts are not readily available and needed to be ordered. Each time he spent at least an hour or more trying to diagnose and resolve the problem. I have to say that this was the best and most thorough repair service that I have ever experienced! Larry quite literally would not give up until he had fixed the problem and finally (fingers crossed) the fridge has been working fine for at least a month now! I would absolutely recommend A Action Appliance to anyone! They guarantee their repairs and honestly, they stand by their word and will come back to fix the problem within 30 days if it hasn't been resolved. Thank you VERY MUCH!!

First visit was pleasant; technician diagnosed the problem and attributed it to an "ice dam" build up, and cleaned out the mess. About 3 weeks later, the same problem occurred. Another technician came out and said the first guy "misdiagnosed" the problem, and that it needed a new main control board. This involved taking time off of work for me and I was not pleased about that. I am not convinced that the entire problem was solved as the refrig temp (set at 37) is more like 40. Company confirmed that normal refrig temps are between 32-40 degrees, but I am leery.

Fantastic. Got it back to operating and gave it a good cleaning and tuneup.
