A Action Appliance

This is the second time Tom has been to the house to fix an appliance. From start to finish dealing with Action Appliance is great-they’ll continue to be my first call. Tom makes me feel comfortable about asking questions (which I’m sure is more annoying than he’d ever let on!) and is totally forthright when answering. Can’t recommend them enough.

Great!! During the Covid lockdown to get a service man out was not easy. Polite professional and honest . Ordered an expensive part and turned out I didnt it need it. Told me and refunded the difference . Thank you!!!

Great! Responded to our call promptly, gave us specific timeline when they would arrive, diagnosed problem and quoted price, had necessary parts on truck, completed repair immediately. Very professional and pleasant!

It was diagnosed by technician and repaired on site, excellent service and due to the covid19 the technician came all protected and disinfect surfaces and areas where he was working.👍

They determined it didnt work and claimed they have never seen anything like this Charged me $138 and left. Wanted me to replace 2 of the three boards on the washer that were just replaced by the first repair company for $600 They were going to charge me $679 for two board because they weren't sure they were replaced....after I told them that they were just replaced and watch the repair guys change them out I guess they didnt believe me and wanted to replace them again Really wished they would have at least given on me a big kiss after they srewed me out of my monrey. Told me they would follow up ith my the next day but 2 days later and no one has called. ...SURPRISE!!!!!! If they could not work on a Samsung washer they should have told me when I scheduled the appointment. I ask. They did the same thing the first repair people did and charge me twice as much.. nothing....What a waste of time and literally stole money.

Paul is very professional and helpful. He's serviced my refrigerator previously and both times he works quickly and fixes the problem. I think the price that the company charges is quite high for this type of service but they were available to fix the dryer problem quickly.

I have used action appliance many times in the past with no problems. My only problem this time is they arrived as planned. They tell you it is $129.50 for diagnosing the problem. And if they do the repair it is $239. The young man showed up and found the plastic tubing from the ice maker wasn't seated properly in the incoming receptacle. He said it would be $239 to fix it -- which I though OK. All he did was feed more of the plastic line (coiled up) from the inside of the fridge to the outside of the fridge in the back. He then took the line seated in receptacle, cut off a foot of line, and seated it in the receptacle. This took no more than 10 minutes -- then charged me $239!!! I think this is absolutely ridiculous for 10 minutes of work. Talk about a rip-off.

After examining the stove in finding that the part was no longer available, the part was sent to a company for rebuilding. I was told 7 to 10 days and that is exactly what happened. As soon as the part came in Paul, the repair man, was here the very next day and repaired the stove. Service was excellent

It couldn't have gone better! I put in a quote request yesterday, and received a call within 20 minutes from Doug at A Action Appliance. He listened while I explained the problem with my washing machine, and put my mind at ease saying it probably wasn't anything too serious, and it would probably be worth it to get it fixed. We made an appointment for this morning (the next day) between 8:00 and 12:00. A little later I got an email to confirm the appointment, and another one so that I could track my service professional to see how many more customers he had to get to before he got to me. I didn't end up using that as he called at 8:00 and said he was on his way. When Paul showed up he was very courteous even offering to put on shoe coverings to enter. I showed him where the washing machine was and he went to work. He told me it was a bad lid switch and let me know the price to replace it. I agreed to the price. He was done within a 1/2 hour and asked me if there was anything else he could help with. I did have him price 2 other jobs, I decided against it today, but if I do decide to do the projects, I will definitely go with A Action Appliance. They do a great job, they are friendly and courteous and keep you informed every step of the way. Thank you.

Problem fixed and repairman was excellent!

After estimate of repairs we Chose to purchase new one. We paid for service call only. The serviceman Vinny was exceptional and very courteous. FYI if you choose to repair their service charge is eliminated.

Problem was solved without further expense

The repairman arrived promptly, fixed the main problem and did some additional work to make the refrigerator function better. He explained everything to us and made sure to tell us how to prevent some problems in the future.

did diagnostics on the machine and checked everything possible to find out the issue. ended up needing to replace the washing machine but technician was really helpful and even gave information on how to get another machine through them if we wanted to. have called them in the past for other appliances and would do it again. very reliable and they know their stuff.

Great! Repairman did a fine job. Diagnosed and replaced it within 1/2 hour. Very pleased.

From the start - it was awesome service - I spoke to Karen first thing in the morning and she was very pleasant and professional. The service technician Larry knew right away what the problem was after asking a couple of questions. I would definitely use them again.

Quickly determined the problem and then ordered the broken pump and it was delivered the next day. The part was installed promptly and our dishes are once again clean

Not in the least bit impressed. I have a whirlpool refrigerator with in door ice and water dispensers. Recently the ice maker stopped making ice, so i called A Action Appliance Repair. They sent out a repairman a couple days later, he spent about a half hour or so diagnosing the problem and told me the door needed to be replaced. The estimate was 1500.00 for the door plus tax, shipping and installation. I paid less than 1300.00 for the refrigerator itself so I declined the repairs but still had to pay 140.00 for the service call. A day or so later I decided to look into it myself and found some videos online to diagnose the problem. Turns out the icemaker needed replacement, I ordered a new one and installed it myself, 90.00 in parts and a little bit of my time and my fridge is making ice. I wish I had taken it upon myself instead of hiring a "professional." I would not recommend this company.
