Description of Work: Our inspector, Patrick Nagle, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He showed up a bit early, did a thorough job, and provided his inspection report (complete with photos - via email) the same evening. What I like about the company is its professionalism, easy payment options, and ability to produce receipts and reports quickly via email. | |What I had difficulties with was the communication. Making initial contact with the company (which I attempted both through Angie's List and through their website) was difficult. I received instant replies to both my messages, sent via Angie's List and through the company's website, saying that I would be contacted immediately on the next business day. I was not contacted at all. I called the company and was told that the delay was due to the fact that I sent my messages over the weekend and there had been a snowstorm that Saturday. However, they had no records of my messages or any of the information I provided in their system. I provided the information again and was told by the live assistant that I would receive a follow-up email confirming the appointment we had just made. That also never came. I called back and was told, apologetically, that the message was not sent due to an oversight on their part. I was also told that I would hear from the inspector prior to his arrival. However, I never received any communication until Patrick arrived at the door explaining that the agent and buyer would be arriving shortly. I had no idea what he was talking about because our house is not being sold. Clearly, there had been further miscommunication - even internally. Patrick's professionalism, personable attitude, and proficiency was the saving grace of this experience.

Description of Work: Incredibly thorough new house inspection within VA requirements for mortgage. Inspector was already there when we arrived and was already in the process. He was professional, thorough and really looked out for us as home buyers. Would highly recommend!

Description of Work: A wonderful home inspection when purchasing a new house. A full home inspection with rodent/bug, water quality test and radon (both air and water). I would highly recommend. A great report that allowed us to clearly communicate with the seller using photo evidence. He also picked up on small clues as to the home history.

Description of Work: Knowledgeable and professional at all times. Explained each process and the outcomes as he went. During procedures that took a bit of time, he chatted easily about options, experiences in other situations and answered any questions we put to him.

Description of Work: Joe was waiting for us when we got there. He walked me through the details as he was thoroughly examining the house. He was very professional and no detail was too small, and no question was left unanswered. My previous inspector was professional, but Joe blew him away in every category. The report we received after is extremely well done and straightforward. Worth EVERY penny: buying a house requires the detailed attitude that Joe brought to the site. Me wife and i will not use anyone else but Joe at Tiger.

Description of Work: I was very happy with the home inspection performed by Tiger. We actually walked away from the home purchase after receiving the inspection report. After seeing how much work needed to be done on the house that was not visible during our preliminary walk-through, we decided that it was just too much for us to do.

Description of Work: Home inspection pending contract final. The inspector was very thorough and very helpful. The report back was timely and a good guide for anticipating future upgrades to the home.

Description of Work: Basic home inspection 695 then extras for water testing which were more than other companies but I wanted someone reliable. We got Tim Healy who was awesome. Lots of questions answered and tip top job.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the inspection and cost, and was comfortable with my inspector Nick. He did a very thorough job and was helpful in calling me back later to answer my questions. I'm extremely grateful to him for calling my attention to vermiculite insulation in the attic and recommending that I get it tested. Turned out to have asbestos in it which I've decided to have removed to avoid problems in the future. He was on site before I even arrived and was very professional. I highly recommend Tiger and Nick for expertise, professionalism, knowledge, and inspiring confidence that I'm buying a structurally sound house.

Description of Work: Pre-purchase inspection on a condo, including an optional radon test. The inspector arrived ahead of schedule and did an outside walk-around, providing me a summary when I arrived on site. The indoor inspection was very informative, and I liked the fact that this inspector had done numerous other inspections within the same condo complex and was familiar with the units. The only reason for the overall "B" rating was the price seemed a little high, but I still feel I got my money's worth. The full inspection report was emailed to me before the end of the day, so they certainly are prompt.

Description of Work: Whole house inspection, radon testing, and walk through. Took approximately 3 hours. But, what I liked the best was the fact that the inspector did not leave until I was completely satisfied. They give recommendations on items that need repair and will walk you through their finds so well, you would think they built the place. Right after we paid and signed off, inspector again asked if we had any final questions, which we did, so he walked us to the basement and explained our last concern to us. They were flexible and on time.

Description of Work: I had a condo inspected that I was prospectively going to buy. Tiger did a very thorough inspection and provided a lot info to me as they went through the inspection and also sent me a very detailed report. The inspector spend time answering all my questions and I was very confident in his abilities and would gladly use this home inspection company in the future.

Description of Work: Did a complete home inspection. Found a several minor items and noted all other items which should be done but not urgent. Two guys came and spent about 4 hours to go through a 4800sqft home.

Description of Work: They inspected the home while I was in the process of purchasing it.
