Description of Work: David Townsend of Tiger Group did the inspection for an older home we purchased in Hamden, and did a terrific job. A good friend of mine, a carpenter of 30 years experience, accompanied us and said (as one who has little use for most home inspectors) it was the most thorough inspection and written report he had ever seen. To top it all off, more than two months after the inspection (weeks after we had purchased the home), when we faced complex questions about strategies for dealing with roofing and insulation issues, I emailed David for advice and he took the time to respond by email and then share a long phone conversation. I cannot imagine a home inspector more knowledgeable, honest, or more committed to helping his clients.

Description of Work: full home inspection, interior and exterior. The home inspection itself was only ~600, but we also had various well water tests done for an extra cost. | |George was there early and had already examined the exterior of the home before we arrived. He was very helpful and informative.
