Laurie Noble Design, LLC

Fantastic! From the aesthetic I saw on her website to our first phone contact, I knew that Laurie was the person to work with. We purchased a contemporary townhouse, currently all white and rather cold, moving from a 1912 Arts and Crafts home with warm colors and arts and crafts furniture. We did not have the first clue how to paint this place, nor which color should start where and what was a wall and what was a ceiling (lots of angles). Laurie looked at photos of our old place, gave us lots of good advice on our planned renovation while in the space, and spent three hours helping us choose colors. Starting with our photos and a swatch of fabric, she rapidly "got" my wife and me, worked iteratively to assess our feelings about colors, and helped US come up with a color scheme that we think is going to be smashing. Warm, interesting, and appropriate to our taste and furnishings. She was never "designery", never tried to sell us anything. We couldn't have selected the colors for this place without help. The painters are there right now- will post again when they are done. We will definitely turn to Laurie in the future for help with design. She is a wonderful professional.
