+ -1 moreThe technician was very late arriving, and without even taking the panel off determined the problem required a new compressor and immediately tried to sell me a new one. Though they didn't charge me for the visit, it took another contractor to pinpoint the problem. It turned out I did need a new system, but the RLD quote was incomplete as to what was actually needed - apparently to get me on the hook and then filet me once they were in the middle of the job. I didn't trust them, and wouldn't in the future.

+ -1 moreThe entire house is cooled. The system works great! They installed the ducts without any additional painting or work needed after they finished. They cleaned up after themselves every day. We are very happy with our central A/C. I can recomend RLD without any reservations.
Description of Work: RLD installed complete A/C in two story house built in 1978 with hot water radiators, so a house with no air ducts. They installed the blower and ducts into the antic to cool four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a special duct leading to the family room on the first floor. The living room, kitchen and dining room have no A/C ducts installed.

+ -1 moreIt is privately owned. They occasionally can be difficult to get a hold of but it is because they are so busy. I like that they don't try to see you a pile of goods but they can tell you when something needs replaced out of being genuine, not to generate business. It is someone I have confidence in and consider them a good resource. I believe they are fair and prices stay consistent. When you need them they are there.
Description of Work: I have used them for more than 20 years for heating/air needs.
