Excellent! Could not believe how fast they were!

Chris and his crew did a very nice job on our replacement. When providing an estimate for the job Chris took the time to walk through the work that would be done step by step and the materials that would be used. This is not something that any other contractor took the time to do. Price was competitive with other estimates. The roof replacement was completed very efficiently and everything was cleaned up very well afterwards. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin Roofing.

The whole experience went very well from start to finish. Chris Martin spent 2 hours with us looking at the roofing job and explaining how he would handle it. He did an inspection all over the house and found some rot / damage to a fascia board that he brought to our attention and fixed during the job. He also noted some damage to our chimney that he suggested would be best taken care of before the roofing - so we did. I'm an engineer and know a little bit about roofing. I have to say Chris is very knowledgeable. I was very impressed with his knowledge and how he planned on attacking challenges. The scheduling was impacted by weather (snow) and a couple other scheduling challenges. He offered to have his brother oversee things to speed things up but, I told him that most of the reason we chose him, was him. So we waited but then the job couldn't start until a week we were on vacation. We agreed that he would do the job while we were gone. He texted progress on the job and also sent pictures of additional areas that needed to be addressed. He found a few more sections of rotten wood that were partially wrapped in aluminum, sent us the pictures and then repaired them. He kept track of the adds and at the same time kept track of the deducts. He changed his approach in a big area based on what he found (venting). That was a big deduct and paid for the added repairs to the rotted areas. He kept us in the loop all the way thru the job which took 2 days. It looked great in the pictures and on our return, the job looked even better. The Team did a good job of cleaning up. A friend that came by the house was amazed at the size of the crew on the job and my daughter in law was very impressed with everything as well. No question I would recommend Chris to anyone for a roof job. Great guy, great Team and great work.

For 25 years, I have hired many companies to work on my 1834 Greek Revival house. For replacing my roof (and skylight), I got 5 estimates, and Martin Roofing & Remodeling was among the lowest in cost, using the best materials. Chris & Steve Martin (brothers) always responded quickly to my many questions, and provided excellent advice. They scheduled the work promptly, and on that scheduled day, their team of 7 workers worked 12 hours and completed the job, with Chris on site, supervising the work. The roof & skylight look beautiful, and there were no additional costs. Martin Roofing & Remodeling is clearly the best company that has ever done work on my house. It was a pleasure to work with Chris & Steve, and I will have them do other projects around my house in the future.

Marin Roofing came out on Monday and by the following Saturday afternoon, my entire system was replaced with a high quality, commercial grade gutter system with very effective rain guard protection. Chris Martin was very easy to work with. He met with us at a mutually agreeable time to inspect the locations for the two new windows and see what work that would need to be done in the exterior walls and siding. He gave us a written estimate that proved to be exactly the total cost of the window replacements. The work was completed in a timely fashion and the end result was very well done indeed -- the two new windows fit seamlessly into the walls in which they were hung, with no hint to the eye of the adjustments that had been to fit the new space. We were very pleased, and will certainly use Martin for any future window work.
