Overall pretty good. They left a big white floor-to-ceiling white membrane over the crack and that will stay there permanently. Not sure I like that. Wish they had a way to paint and blend that in to the rest of the unfinished storage room in my basement. Overall good and competent service.

The service was too expensive, and so I didn't go with it. There was nothing wrong with the rep that came, it was just way more than I could spend at that time.

We did have an issue with the discharge pipe needing to be moved to accomodate a wall mounted bookcase and this was done after the owner visited and reviewed the issue. It took the technician 10 minutes to move the pipe.

A rep from Budget came in to look at my issue and discuss options. A couple weeks later a technician came to fill/repair the cracks. He thoroughly explained what he was going to do and how the product would work. He even let me watch and ask questions as her worked on my cracks. They also recommended a dehumidifier for my basement due to the moisture readings. I currently had a small dehumidified, which I had purchased at the hardware store, that was not sufficient for the space. After a several months my basement water and moisture free. I am a pleased customer.

On time, very professional and finished earlier than expected. Basement was left clean.

There were no high pressure sales tactics. They were very honest, professional and they did not talk negative about competitors. They were selling me on the benefit of their own product and focused on what they could do for me. Their price was also fair.

I choose not to use this service. I wanted to address the causes of my damp basement.

Plugged 4 spots in the cellar wall that leak in the early spring. The man who did it seemed quite capable and confident. Although we'll see in the sping, I believe he fixed it!

They were prompt and he seemed knowleadgeable about the services. The inspection was quick.

The gentleman was on time, and provided a lot of great information. He told me not to waterproof my walls with the dry lock paint at home depot but instead suggested purchasing a new dehumidifier from his company that would help keep the whole basement dry and would cost less than running the two that we have running now. The cost is estimated to be about $40 less a month than we are paying now for electric costs. We were happy to hear that some of the moisture evidence that we have found in our basement is nothing to be fearful of. It was also nice that their estimate gave us a bunch of different solutions that could be purchase a la carte as we were ready for them. I didn't feel any pressure to purchase and we have not yet decided when we will upgrade to their dehumidifier but we will definately consider purchasing from them since we really like them. My only frustration is that I just saw a commercial for a local company that supposedly performs this sort of evaluation for free. I don't know if they would have provided the same professional service but it seems important to note. Budget dry gives you a "free" humidity alert monitor. In my house I will never use it. The dehumidifier we use has that feature already.

Soon after I purchased the deal, Mark made an appointment with me to visit my property. He and his colleague were very punctual and highly professional. They reviewed the interior and exterior of the house for any cracks, leakages etc that could cause water penetration and humidity related problems. They measured current humidity and advised on steps to maintain humidity under a certain level. They also highlighted the areas of concern and how to keep a watch on them. Finally they left behind some information material, services they offer to fix different types of problems and a free humidity meter to keep a track of humidity in the basement. All in all, very good education for the cost of the service. Highly recommend it.

1) He had no clear answers when I asked why 'inside-the-basement drains versus outside drains except to say how deep and wide outside trenches must be by OSHA standards. He didn't answer technical aspects about each system. Answering this question, I believe, is very important to home owners. Inside drains or outside drain systems each have advantages and disadvantages. In my experience, owners must search for this information. Our town engineer didn't answer this question(said it was up to each home owner). 2) Salesman/estimater mentioned BudgetDry offered a warranty. What he didn't say, until I asked, was whether the warranty came from the national company (?Grate Products or?) or from BudgetDry, Guilford, CT. We were told warranty came from CT franchisee, BudgetDry in Guilford, CT. I asked how long the CT franchisee had been in business-Answer since ~2005. We decided not to use any of the 'inside-the-basement drain systems.

It went great. On the day that the basement was waterproofed the team arrived on time, they covered everything to be sure nothing got dust on it (to waterproof the basement they had to jackhammer the basement floor and install piping), and did a terrific job, even finishing a little earlier than estimated. I was concerned because the space they had to work in was tight and near my oil tank, but I needn't have worried - they did a fantastic job. The concrete had to dry for a while before the dehumidifier could be installed, so on Sept. 2th Mike came to install that. That went well, too. He found that he couldn't put the dehumidifier in the spot that was originally planned because the hose wasn't long enough, but the place where he put it is even better. And he put the vent in a better place than originally planned, too. The only thing that wasn't the greatest was that he was an hour late arriving, and didn't call to let me know, which is why I gave them a B on punctuality. However, that is minor and I want to stress how tremendously HAPPY I am with the whole project. I had used Budget Dry before to waterproof my Mom's basement, so I knew how good they were. This job is another example of their excellence. Anybody who needs basement waterproofing or dehumidifying, hire Budget Dry. You will not be sorry. They are really tremendous, and their prices are very reasonable, too.

We have both finished and unfinished sections of basement, with historic water issues. We have an extensive sump pump system which has, until now, kept them dry. A month or two ago we noticed seepage in the finished section that was wicking into the carpet. We called two basement water remediation companies and met with Marc from Budget Dry. He was prompt, professional and provided us with a thorough explanation of why we were getting water. We elected to go with Budget Dry because they offered both a fair price and a comprehensive solution that included carpentry work. We also preferred their drain apparatus, which accommodates both water seeping from outside the foundation as well as water from underneath the foundation. The carpentry work and the drainage work were performed by different crews, but both showed up when scheduled and performed the work very professionally. It's a messy process, but both crews kept the dust as well contained as possible. After the drain was installed, we discovered a crack in the foundation that was the source of some additional seepage. Jason, the owner, sent someone out to remove additional drywall to assess the extent of the crack. It extended from the floor to the top of the foundation wall, so Jason sent someone out to seal the crack before we re-sheetrocked the wall. We've had a couple of heavy rains since the work was completed and no indication of seepage. We could not be more pleased with the results. Were we to experience leakage in any other sections of the basement, I would use Budget Dry in an instant.

I was given a variety of options to solve my basement flooding problem. All explanations were clear and specific. The estimate seemed fair. I was able to schedule the work fairly quickly and the work team was great. They came early, finished in the time promised and were neat and professional. The only problem was that they cut my invisible dog fence line, which was partly my fault since I did not think to warn them it was there. I just wish they had told me rather than rebury the cut line. All in all one of the most positive experiences I have had with a home improvement job, and even with all the rain we have had, my basement has stayed dry!

Budget Dry Waterproofing came and gave me an estimate and it was a good estimate and I told them to go ahead with the work. These guys are good, they also advertise the fact that they give a 10% discount. They do have some awards from Angie's List, I'm told, and documentation to show that.

Budget Dry Waterproofing Inc. We have used them before with the basement sump pump installation, to try to prevent water coming in the basement. They were good.

We initially met with one of the companies senior project managers, who came out to our home to inspect the issue. He showed up ontime, and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He helped us determine the cause of the issue (some trees growing near the foundation) and gave us several options for how to resolve the problem. He came well prepared with an ipad, powerpoint style presentation to provide details on the company and the technology involved in resolving our problem. He showed us photos of prior, similar work they had completed, as well as their history of reviews on Angie's List. He made us feel comfortable asking questions and it was not your typical high pressure sales pitch. In researching how to best address our issue, we had a competitor come to the house who used much higher pressure sales tactics. He attempted to sell us additional products. The competitor eventually quoted us a lower price than Budget Dry had, but Budget Dry offered to match that price, no questions asked. The only complication that came up for our job was that initially we thought the work would be completed in a single day. As it turned out, the repair needed to be done in two steps on two different days. Budget Dry was very apologetic for the confusion and were very accommodating with quickly scheduling the second day of work. We were satisfied with the work product, would highly recommend Budget Dry to others and would use them again in the future.

Priced way too high for work that I did not believe was necessary based on another estimate I received from another company. The salesperson was very nice and not a high pressure salesperson, which I appreciated. I would suggest, however, that he not chew gum throughout the entire sales call though.

We had had problems for years with persistent water in basement despite existing sump pump. Their rep came out quickly, explained what needed to be done, and we agreed on a fair price. They came in and discovered that problem was worse than they usually deal with (had to dig deeper), which meant an extra day's work. They put in drainage system around entire interior perimeter, added new well for existing sump pump, and installed new sump pump with battery back-up. Initially there were some issues with the drainage area not being far enough away from the house, but they came back and fixed that. We have not had a drop since -- can finally use the basement!!

The team was very responsive and called me multiple times to chat. I sent photos of my foundation, and we determined that it is non-load-bearing. Regrettably that means Budget Dry does not do the work. However, they recommended that I search Angie's List for Masonry, which I will. They were willing to chat with me and email with me multiple times and were very responsive.

We had a basement with several cracks that would allow water to enter and cause puddling whenever it rained. The folks at budget dry were quite responsive and sent a representative to my home and got the work done in very short order. I have been very pleased that in the 12 months since then we have not had one drop in our basement- including several hurricanes later!
