+ -1 moreI am exceptionally happy with the work of Gibson Cellar Door and Window. I had a new hatchway door, basement door, and basement windows installed. I was quite please that they agreed to install the glass block windows that I wanted - other companies wouldn't. Unfortunately there were delays caused by COVID, but they installed the windows and hatchway door while waiting for the interior basement door to be delivered. Once the interior door arrived, it was installed even after the snowstorm the night before - I was expecting them to reschedule. They went above and beyond to get the interior door install, and did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

+ -1 moreWe had a Cellar Doors replaced because they were a real bad shape and water was leaking into the cellar and we had Cellar windows replaced because they were very old and in bad shape and you are able to open them so they replaced for Cellar windows very very good quality that can be open to get fresh air in and they did an awesome job on the cellar doors the two workers that came here and the boss was very very friendly and did very very high quality work if you need any kind of work done I highly recommend this company you will be very satisfied

+ -1 moreThe installation was fine. We thought they did a very good job on building a cellar door on site as a standard door wouldn't fit our installation. The trim around the cellar windows is ok, but not great. That said they're cellar windows on the mechanical side of our home, so it doesn't need to be really great finish carpentry. Pricing was in the middle of the quotes we received. They were responsive for the survey and quote, but I had to follow up with them to schedule the installation.

Description of Work: After having the basement of my home filled with water because the existing hatchway let it in, I desperately needed a new hatchway. I responded to an ad in the local coupon newsletter and contacted the Gibson company. The company is a family owned and run business and I received excellent friendly service from the initial visit to determine my needs to the final installation that solved the problem.
