+ -1 moreDan came and measured the window and ordered the new one. It came in several weeks later. He personally (with his assistant carpenter) dismantled the falling-apart Lincoln bay window. The new window was installed and the outside and inside repairs were completed in two days. He matched the siding perfectly and the new siding that was needed was put in a place where it couldn't be noticed. He put down painters dropcloths throughout the house so he wouldn't dirty the floors and carpets. His pays great attention to the details so on final inspection the only thing to say is, "Great job!"
Description of Work: Dan and his crew replaced a large, second floor, rotted out Lincoln bay window. They came in, dismantled the old window, removed the little roof above it, did some framing, replaced the building wrap, installed the new large window unit, removed siding from another part of the house to match the existing siding, and basically made the house look like the window had been part of the original construction. On the inside, they carefully insulated around the new window, applied joint (sheetrock) compound, and installed the trim. He sanded the joint compound so perfectly that I only needed to paint.
