THE JOB DONE ON MY TILE FOOR WAS AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER FIRST OF ALL WHEN WE CALLED ABOUT THE FLOOR THEY SAID $139.00 I ENDED UP PAYING OVER 200 THE KID CAME IN AND INFORMED US THAT BECAUSEE OF COVID HE WAS RUNNING LOW ON THE CLEANING SUPPLIES SO I SAID THEN WHY DID YOU COME BUT HE SAID I COULD WASH THIS NICE AND BUT SOME CLEAR COAT ON (and that was an extra 69.99) SO WE SAID OK WE WANTED TO PUT OUR HOME BACK TOGETHER MY HUSBAND SAID HE WAS THE LESS THAN 1|2 AN HOUR WHICH WAS DEFINETLY NOT ENOUGH TIME TO DO THE PROPER JOB FOR TILE AND GROUT I BELIEVE HE DID NOTHING LEFT THE FLOOR WET AND TOLD US TO PUT FAN ON TO DRY IT WELL I CAME HOME TO THE DIRTEST FLOOR IT WAS LIKE HE WASHED WITH DIRTY GRIMEY WATER WE CONTACTED STANLEY STEEMER AND THE LADY WAS VERY NICE ABOUT THE WHOLE THING WE ASKED TO SEE A MANAGER BUT THE GUY THEY SENT DIDNT REALLY DO ANYTHING JUST TOLD US TO CONTACT THE OFFICE ON MONDAY WHICH WE WILL DO WOKE UP MONDAY AND PUT STOP PAYMENT ON THE CHECK I WASN'T GOING TO WAIT FOR MY MONEY AND PLUS I WANT MY $35.00 FEE FOR THE STOP PAYMENT FEE I AM VERY MAD AND UPSET ABOUT THE DEAL AND I ALSO HAVE THE VIDEO TO PROVE THE DISGUSTING JOB THAT THEY DID DONNA RONDINONE EAST HARTFORD

They did an excellent job. The sent someone locally the next day after I called them for service. They were very professional, friendly and helpful, so as the assistant who came with him.

Job went okay, but the guy kept trying to sell me stuff. Didn't need that.

I didn't appreciate them trying to sell me stuff. They were fairly quick in and out of here rather quickly.

They were able to get to our house in 24 hours. Did a good job cleaning, but due to rainy weather it took more than 24 hours to dry. Basement carpet still smells a little musty. It was a little pricey for 2 small area rugs, basement carpet, and 2 pieces of furniture. But they were the only carpet cleaners who picked up the phone on a weekend.

It worked out great but some of the grout came out and mold started to form. They are generally into carpet and rugs and I called them for something that they don't normally do.

It worked out fine they were very good. They informed me to ask for Ash and Luis to come back and do my upstairs. They were very polite and reasonably priced.

Missed one spot in the master bedroom

Excellent. They did a great job. Their price is decent. The quality was good. Their responsiveness was quite good. Their punctuality and professionalism were perfect. We have used them several times. The rugs are clean. The workers were very professional. The work takes about an hour or two for three rooms.

They were “5’s”, they get the job done. I did a contract for 3 cleanings and I think the total of the contract was somewhere around $500. We don’t have a lot of carpeting, but we have a dog. I have another cleaning with them and I will probably renew the contract. Just be clear with what you want done. They do try to sell you other products when they show up, which I understand. But, you probably don’t need them, just know what you want before they come.

Very well- Trevor C and Jose C arrived early. They were in an out in one hour- They were very professional and courteous and worked hard to get all the stains out. The carpet looks beautiful and we are very happy with it.

They did a fantastic job and it didnt take all day.

Went very well. Technician was polite, very helpful, and worked hard removing some stains. Carpets were damp for about one full day. All odors are gone.

We hired SS to clean our carpet (only 1 room) and deodorize and protect our furniture (1 chaise, 1 recliner, 1 love seat, 1 sofa) Overall the men that came did the job very quickly, and the carpets looked and smelled amazing when they left. Overall, making the appointment online and using the promo codes on Retailmenot.com, allowed me to stay within budget. I really liked that they show you what they are doing, and explain it as they go. The two tech's were very nice and I would definitely hire SS again for my carpet needs. I was not interested in doing the deodorizing at first, but the tech threw it in for more than 60% off. It was definitely an "up sell" but worth it. Overall good prices, service, and professionalism.

They did a beautiful job. They removed anything that was on there; the stains or anything. Then they cleaned it. When they got through with it, we never knew anything had ever happened there. They were doing everything they could to get rid of everything that was on the carpeting. It looked like I had totally brand new carpeting. They are very good. I just showed them what bothered me and requested if they could remove that. They would just remove anything that they thought could be removed. It's very helpful. It makes me feel very good. With regard to price, I'm willing to pay the price because when they get through with it, my carpeting looks so good. They did everything totally perfectly.

It went very well! Very professional company. I originally requested to have the bedrooms and hallway cleaned because I thought the other areas were too far gone for cleaning. When I made the appointment, I requested the provided also give me a professional opinion on whether the other areas could be cleaned. I was given a time window for the appointment. The day of the appointment, I received a call indicating they are on their way and which town they were travelling from. I thought this was nice as it allowed me to gauge their time of arrival. They arrived and offered to demonstrate what the areas I was concerned about would look like if they cleaned it. I agreed and the demonstration was done. Since it cleaned so well, I agreed to have them clean all the carpeting which changed the price. I liked the fact that I didn't feel pressured to have them clean the additional areas. They demonstrated what it would look like and then left it up to me to adjust the work order if I wanted to. They recommended stainguard which I was not originally going to get but considering how bad these carpets looked and the fact they were letting me decide, I figured why not. I would definitely use them again!

The previous owners of our new home had a dog and a strong dog odor lingered in the house when we moved in. After doing some online research, we decided to replace some of the carpeting and have the rest professionally cleaned. I liked Stanley Steemer's online scheduling option and I was able to get a convenient window the next day. The guys who came - Lenny and Jordan - were great: polite, careful, friendly to my kids who were curious about their big machines. They called about 20 minutes before arriving, confirmed what services I had ordered once they arrived, and then got to work, even asking me to approve the work they'd done to see if I wanted them to go back over any areas. I couldn't believe the difference that their work made. The dog smell is gone from the rooms they treated and the carpets look much, much better. I am 100% satisfied with the service I received and will definitely use this company again in the future.

Overall it went ok. I could see a difference in my sofa but I had to get towels to keep the water from messing up our hard wood floors. The guys that came were nice enough be they were looking all over the house, within the area, and constantly trying to sell more products. For instance we have treads on our stairs - they were new but the guys thought they should shampoo them. And they wanted to shampoo our carpets upstairs, and they tried to sell us floor mats, and it was just constant and was a pain in the .... About a week later the phone calls started trying to sell more services. Around the holidays they started again. When companies do that type of sales tactic I shut down and don't use them again and that's how I feel about Stanley Steamer.

On the phone when I called for a quote, I was told that the carpet would dry in a few hours. I was amazed. I voiced this amazement that it would dry that quickly to the woman. I said that they must have very strong vaccums to pull out the spray. I was again told yes, that it was just a few hours. On the day of service, the guys arrived pretty close to the schedulded time. They were pleasant. They said ot would be about 12 hours to dry. They did a good job on the sofas but it took a day to dry. This meant we had no where to sit since we were expecting just a few hours. the rug had previously been treated by a dry cleaner after a cat peed on it. It hadn't smelled since then until Stanley steamer cleaned it . They reversed whatever the dry cleaner had done. I had to throw it out. It took about 3 days for our carpets to dry and they were very mildrewy. It took weeks for that smell to clear out. They guys had to come out 2 more times. The first time they sprayed again and added a deoderant. Thus didnt work and the floors were wet again. They then stopped being nice and were blaming us for it not drying. Finally they left the big blower fans and we used them for a day and it finally dried. The smell stayed though. We used arm and hammer on it a couple of times and it is better. I do wonder if I now have a buildup of mold because of their treatment. We also had to board our dogs until the floors dried which was another additional cost along with the new rug.

The two men were pleasant..they left no mess..one worked harder than the other..I kept reminding them to watch the hoses while going upstairs so they wouldn't knock down my Xmas tree..they complied.. Not upset about the price or workers..just think they could have done a better job on the carpets and furniture...There was a very evident spot on the corner of the family room area rug as they were leaving..I pointed it out and they spotted it and it came clean.. The tile man worked very hard and was very knowledgable..The hardest worker of the two..They called me in the AM to tell us they were on the way and arrived on time.. They were very polite..

I have used this company a few times. I usually get email promotions that are coupons for some decent savings. It seems like without the coupons, they are a little bit more expensive than other carpet cleaning companies. Recently I had them out to clean two carpets and deodorize them. The scheduling is very easy on-line and they have a ton of windows available to schedule at your convenience. I had them out on a saturday. The company called me in advance when the crew was finishing up their prior job and headed over. They came by about 20 minutes after the phone call. They went right to work on the carpets. They were very careful with their hoses and equipment so as to not scratch the walls or the furniture. The have to leave the door open to run the hose from the truck up in to the room, this concerned me because of the house being heated, but they drape a heavy cloth over the gap between the door and it seems to work great keeping the heat in. The carpets came out great. One was very pet stained, it was cleaned well after but still had an odor to it. The service tech explained that it was probably in the pad below which makes sense to me.

Most stains came out, but some areas were heavily soiled. A few stains have come back, which we knew might happen. The crew (2) was here on time and were very pleasant. My husband had moved most of the furniture out of the rooms with wall to wall, so they had easy access. We had a 15% discount -- cannot remember whether an angies discount, or some other promotion. They had several running at the time. Regarding several of the Area Rugs, I will have them taken out to a specialty cleaner next time. One needlepoint rug has some minor damage to threads.

They are very good. I use them once a year. They are very professional, courteous, and punctual.
