I called up the inspector he told me they service low to get other things from you. I showed him what they said he then went back up and said there is nothing wrong with the chimney.

Description of Work: The chimney was cleaned and inspected, the furnace flue was cleaned and inspected, the exterior brick was waterproofed and the crown was replaced. |I found them to be prompt, fairly priced and from what I could see (from the ground) did a good job. The representative from the company who did the paperwork with me on site, who explained all that was being done was rather condescending and came across as extremely pushy. I was put off by his abrupt manner. I would use them again, but check my paperwork and request that this young man NOT be the tech that comes to do the yearly tune up.

Description of Work: The company canceled my appointment 1 hour before they were due to arrive. No reason was given as to why. I was furious and would not reschedule. I took a half day off from work -- what a waste of a day!

Description of Work: I hired them to clean my chimney and the representative tried to sell me a $2300 relining of my chimney. They charged me $75 for this so called service (giving an estimate I didn't ask for or want). They came here under false pretenses.

Description of Work: We wanted our chimney cleaned and checked to see if it needed repair. The chimney did not really need cleaning and the technician did not do one or charge us for it. Our Chimney does need an insert and we did get a reasonable quote to rectify that (but we have not contracted the work at this point). I did ask for a quote to put in a wood stove. I was given a very complete, but very expensive, estimate. Although I don't doubt the vaslidity of the estimate, it might have been nice to have a lesser option to consider. This would be a company we would have return when we are able to have the chimney repaired and look into wood stove optoins in the future.

Description of Work: I have lived in a 110 year old Victorian - and had never had its two chimneys cleaned. The serviceman arrived on time with his vacuum - and was done in less than an hour. One of your reviewers of another chimney sweep company said it high-pressured him about installing a metal liner, so I was waiting for possible bad news on the condition of those 110 year old chimneys. However, the serviceman they were in good shape considering their years and did not need any repairs!! I was very pleased with the efficiency and politeness of the service and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: called for annual chimneysweep for both fireplace and furnace. Did job competently but then went into OVERSELL mode, trying to make me buy an insert costing over $2,000. My furnace people told me that yesm I would probably need one sometime in future but not right away and certainly not for that cost. These people also did the same oversell on having my Chimney replaced the previous y ear. I guess that made me look like an easy target. NO MORE!
