Description of Work: I have used Macca Plumbing in the past for issues such as a clog, parts replacement, or pinhole leak. This time they came and examined the area surrounding the sewer/water main pipe (just the small part at the beginning) since there were some drain flies coming from there and I wanted to be sure there was no pipe damage. Because the flies were coming from some debris and not a crack in the pipe there was no repair, but they skillfully were able to remove a metal cover that was wedged under the edge of some dry wall and nailed strip from wall to wall carpeting without any damage. I had been wanting to move that lid for sometime so even if the charge was somewhat high for this visit, it was worth the price for the diagnosis, and of course, to have the lid more mobile. This company has been around forever in West Hartford and are upright and straightforward. They will come for all sorts of jobs and the woman in the office is wonderful.

 + 0 moreOne of my 3 year old twins dropped a deodorant container into our toilet. It was impossible to dislodge even after the plumber took the toilet off of the base.. But the Plumber from Macca, his name was Wallace, he was very , very nice and he tried so hard to save the toilet , but he couldn't get the container out. But he was friendly , nice , professional and he took his time to try to help us.

 + 1 moreThey are very competant. When they say they are going to be there, they always show up at that time. I haven't compared their prices at all, but they handle good products. One time they had an emergency and they were able to come out very quickly.
Description of Work: They've done a lot of things for me in the past. They have put in a hot water heater and also a new garbage disposal. At another time, I had a leak in my upstairs bathroom and they fixed the leak.

When I had a question about the work done, I was able to talk to the owner who sent someone else out to make sure the work was done correctly. I would not hesitate to use Macca again and recommend their work very highly. they will be there when you need them.
