Disappointing!

Even worse than the experience of the reviewer who received no call back, this contractor failed to keep two appointments to work up an estimate on replacing my roof. After my initial call, he called me back, and we scheduled an appointment for Sept. 20. He said I didn't need to be home and he'd email me the proposal. That sounded fine. However, he didn't show, and I received no email. I left two to three follow-up messages over as many days to learn whether he was interested in the job, since his Angie's reviews were very positive. He left an apologetic voice message that some unexpected travel had come up, but we could reschedule if I was still interested. Ok, I thought, something came up. I called him back and we scheduled a second stop-by for either Oct. 4 or 5. Again, a no-show, but I got a call from him the evening of the 5th. I picked up, thinking he had some information for me, but he seemed surprised it was me. He said, "Could you hold a minute?" Click. He called me once again that evening, but there was no voice when I picked up the second time. It appears he called me twice by mistake, didn't want to talk to me, and hung up. With such an experience, I'm mystified about the positive reviews. Even so, it worked out for the best. Better to know someone does this kind of thing at the outset, before a contract is signed, instead of in the middle of a job.

This person never called me back after I left a detailed message on his answering machine. He is not the first contractor to do this and I wonder how they can stay in business. It doesn't take 2 minutes to return a call and say yes or no to a prospective job. What has happened to common courtesy?

I was very satisfied with his work. He was here the whole day. He was very good, extremely reasonable and on time. The price was around $400. I would use them again. In fact, I called them this year to give me a quote for replacing the vinyl siding on my house. However, I decided not to do the work, but their quote was extremely reasonable compared to the other companies that gave me quotes. I have recommended them all over the place.

Dave and his crew did a very nice job. He diagnosed the problem with our leaking roof quickly, and had the roof fixed immediately. He also replaced windows in the porch enclosure, and even had to rebuild one of the walls that was severely damaged due to the leaking roof. The window replacement and related work took a little bit longer than we anticipated because of the weather and ordering supplies, but his crew worked very hard and completed the work as soon as they could. Dave is very responsive, and was considerate of our budget. We would certainly consider working with him again.

They were pretty professional. He followed up with phone calls and made sure not to show up when nobody was here. We are seriously considering their bid.

Dave Radomski provided excellent explanation of replacement options and cost. His accurate measurement and prework helped to make the installation job go smoothly.

I called a lot of roofers and this gentleman was the only one willing to come all the way out to our house. He did an amazing job and there is nothing that I can complain about. I would highly recommend them to anyone in our community.

Radomski was always good to his word and really worked with me to choose the right products for my home (trying to keep the 1910 character). He allowed me to change my mind many times and even accomadating changes midway. He was the only roofer that took time to give a complete estimate with everything listed and worked with me to lower prices in areas. First rate job. His workers cared about the job they were doing and even his distributers had good things to say about him. Other contracters spoke well of him too. He fixed all my concerns, and responded immediately and resolved any complaints. I travel for work and had no problems dealing with this company working on my house while I was not at home. I'm really happy with the work and would hire them again, no questions asked. He did not even ask for a deposit. He only wanted to get paid when the work was done. I was satisfied.

Timiley estimates and a rapid response made a very positive impression. Polite and ready to go the extra mile, the company even returned to finish up some extra work (above and beyond the contract) that I asked to be done. Fantastic!
