Kevin has been doing electrical work for us for about a decade, first upgrading the electrical ststem in our 1920s bungalow in Willimantic, and then coming out numerous times to update various elements in our historic home in Chaplin. He's great to work with, no- nonsense, thoughtful about creating safe solutions for our older house, including a generator installation. A nice person and a true professional.

Kevin was professional and did high quality work. He was kind and courteous to our family. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician.

Kevin responded promptly and came the same afternoon to give us a quote on installing two GFI outlets for our two new sump pumps, as well as replacing a bathroom light fixture. He scheduled the job for the next day. Excellent service and done well at a reasonable price. We would highly recommend him.

If I could give him 20 stars, out of 5 I would!! He came within an hour of my calling him. My smoke detector had been beeping for 25 hours!!! I had put the batteries in wrong! He fixed it and checked the other one. So friendly, such a quick response - and didn’t make me feel like a total idiot. I can’t recommend him enough.

Kevin gave me an estimate. We agreed on the date and time. Showed up on time went to work and finished on time. Exactly what I needed . Got a second estimate he will be back in May.

He is professional but he doesn?t want to wear a face mask that put him and my family under a potential risk. BTW, I think it?s cost is not high, but he charged me $650, it?s really expensive.

Kevin was punctual and performed the generator hook-up task exactly as described and everything turned out great.

This was the second job I hired ESC for, the first was a hot tub hookup, and this one wasn't a simple one: install a generator hook up that bypassed only some of my critical circuits to the generator, while leaving the rest of the house on the grid. This required a pretty complex panel with multiple switches and breakers. He did a neat and tidy job and was in and out in about 3 hours! He does the work alone, showed up on time, does a timely, high-quality job and is friendly and considerate to my needs, as a COVID-19 Locked down, WFH customer and he also worked with me on the quote, to get the number where I needed it to be. Kevin *IS* his business, meaning he does the jobs by day and the and invoicing and estimates by night. As he told me: he wants the work but, working on jobs all day doesn't leave much time for getting back to quote request and questions. I think he could do a better job of communicating that up front (why he took a slight ding on my customer service rating) but ultimately I was really glad I waited him out. In short, I'd definitely recommend ESC for your household electrical work, just be patient with his getting back to you. I will likely hire him again.

I had some difficulty finding a business that would tackle a simple job but they agreed and did so at a reasonable cost. I knew there would be a minimum charge but it was within my expectations given I wanted a licensed professional. And they were able to schedule me just shortly after our initial conversation. I contemplated doing the job myself but could not be 100% sure it was just a fixture. And so having a professional gave me the piece of mind knowing that the problem would be addressed regardless of the cause. I would absolutely use them again.

Kevin did a great job installing our generator interlock kit. He responded quickly to my request for an estimate, he was on time for his appointment and he got back to us with an estimate ASAP. The work in our home was done efficiently and Kevin left the work area neat. The job cost was the exact figure quoted on the estimate.
