An excellent response time (less than 24 hours for a non-urgent call), friendly and skilled servicemen as well as office manager, and the patience to deal both tactfully and respectfully with my nonogenarian mother earn this plumbing company an A-Plus. Toilet removed and replace with new American Standard. Sealed properly.

That job went fine. However when I was prepared to hire them again to help with my gas line (which involved turning off the main gas line and getting a permit / inspection by the City) they said they would be there on a Monday and simply did not show up. When I called the office I was told that they had forgotten they had another job on that Monday and would get back to me. I am still waiting to hear from them... I would NOT recommend them to anyone. In these hard economic times it seems to me that they should want the business!

We called on a Saturday not expecting to be able to reach anyone, but Quinn Plumbing and Heating called us back almost immediately and walked through the problem with us. The owner called later and was able to diagnose the problem right over the phone, provide a price estimate, and even emailed pictures of what the finished product would look like. They scheduled an appointment for 8AM on Monday to come and make the repairs, and were very prompt, extremely courteous, and finished in the amount of time they promised it would take. We couldn't have been happier with the service they provided: very responsive, highly professional, and did a great job explaining the issue and setting the right expectations. We highly recommend them to anyone.

I called at 8:30a, and they were at my home just after lunch (they asked if I needed them here before that, and they could have made it earlier if I needed). The serviceman set out materials so that my floor wouldn't be scratched or damaged in any way. He examined all aspects of the toilet; he suggested that while the toilet was removed, that an option would be to replace the whole toilet (it's over 16 years old). He said it didn't need to be immediately, but while he had the toilet totally off, it would have saved money if I wanted it replaced at that time. He said it would need to be replaced in the next year or two due to age. He was correct, but I appreciated he offered the option and didn't give me a strong sales job. He replaced the wax seating, checked to make sure that the toilet wasn't leaking, and cleaned up very well. A very polite fellow (not the owner, but a nice serviceperson in general). To come out on very short notice, repair a leaking toilet... I was pleased with just a $225 bill (they accepted a 10% off coupon from Angie's List which reduced the price to $200). I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

They were a bit late (we had to call to get a fix on arrival time) but once they arrived everything went swimmingly. The whole job took about 6 hours with a break to get parts.

The guys arrived on time, spent ample time assessing the situation. Found the problem may not have been what I initially thought it was. Made a minor adjustment and recommended further action I could take if the problem reappeared. Thoroughtly explained the repair options I should and asked me to call them back if I needed more help. I was very satisfied with the visit and will surely call them back when needed.

My husband and I woke up in the am to find no hot water running, didn't know what it could be or who to call. He accidently left the garage door open where our boiler/hot water hears and pipes were. We called our local gas company 1st thing and we explained the situation and they said they would send someone out between 8:30 & 4:30 pm. The gas company arrived at 1:30 to tell me that they couldn't help us, we needed a plumber. I remembered that we were given membership to Angie's List over the holiday's and so I logged on to search for a local company that could take care of our emergency. I found Quinn Plumbing & Heating and chose them because they were local and because they had an A rating. They were very responsive, called me back right away to tell me when they would be able to send a couple of their guys to take care of the frozen pipes. I asked for a ballpark figure of what they thought the cost might be based on what I was describing, as well as how much they charge per hour. They were pretty upfront about it, but advised they wouldn't know exactly until they inspected the situation. They were at our place within 2 hours to correct the problem. In the end, the pipes weren't as frozen as what we had anticipated and so the cost to correct the situation was a fraction of the original estimate. The two gentlemen took the time to listen to our problem and ensured all faucets had hot water running before the left, and also provided helpful tips on how to avoid this situation again. They fixed the problem within 20 minutes. Further, I received a call from the owner to ensure all went well with the service.

I tried several different plumbers, and they are very personable and informative about what they are doing. They follow up also.

He was prompt, courteous and efficient. He was professional, punctual and cleaned up after himself. His prices were reasonable.
