Jon was great. I was in an in interesting position because I am in Texas while trying to sell a unit in CT. He was fair, honest and responsive. He ended up having to go out a 2nd time because of a miscommunication but he took it in stride and fit me in very quickly to resolve the issue. Cost estimates done over the phone were accurate and he clearly communicated where the costs could vary and how he would be communicating changes to the estimate. Would highly recommend!

Awesome - Ryan and John are the best. Ryan checked the toilet, and replaced the flow, access lines and seals. He re-seated the toilet and then checked my shower and bathtub to make sure I did not have any other leaks. They provide 5-star service always.

Excellent I called on a Saturday and left a message they called me back same day. Obviously not an emergency so I scheduled it for the next week. They called ~approx an hour before arrival as agreed and completed the work clean and professional.

Repairs definitely improved flushing. Plumber was knowledgeable and informative as he helped me understand repair options. I felt confident in the plumber's suggestions. I would use MGS Plumbing again.

I called MGS in a panic after the gas company turned off my service for a leak a few days after I closed on my new house. They were able to get to my house in 20 minutes and started work right away. I have no idea what plumbers normally cost, but for three guys the hourly rate seemed reasonable. They were extraordinarily polite and explained what was happening in detail and didn't mind me asking a million questions. The work ended up happening over three days because they had to coordinate with the town inspector but John, Jimmy, and Ryan were all amazing about keeping me informed. All in all they made a really stressful experience bearable with their professionalism and responsiveness.

The plumber was very knowledgeable and helpful. He also offered advice and suggestions for future work. I would definitely call this company again for any plumbing issues in the future.

MGS responded quickly. They did an examination of my plumbing and made necessary repairs and maintenance. They were polite and friendly, very professional. I will certainly use them again and would recommend their service to others.

He has worked out well. His price is reasonable. He had good communication. He did what he had to do. He was honest.

The hot water line under my kitchen sink exploded MGS came a little later than expected but not badly so They replaced both the hot and cold water lines with copper instead of the metal weave clad plastic flex tube. They double checked to be sure there were no more leaks. The whole job took about 20 minutes. Well done!

The job went great the two young men arrived and begin the job right away they were very polite and introduced themselves and worked fast and neat and cleaned up (swept and even wiped off there finger prints from my appliances) after themselves. MSG plumbing is a excellent company there are not interested in making a quick buck they know that if you are honest and charge fair prices and do great work you build trust and will always have loyal customers. Thanks to John I now have my plumbing company MSG and I will recommend them to all.

The young man who arrived diagnosed the problem and let us know that he would not be able to repair it that day, since he did not have the tools or parts he needed with him, and that he had another job that needed to be finished that day. He made us fully aware of what would need to be done, and an approximate cost for the work. He was also in contact with his office to get a second opinion as to the extent of the work. the next day the same young man, as well as his boss arrived to do the work. They were very professional and completed the work quickly and more importantly they caused as little damage as possible in replacing the valves. It will be several weeks before we can repair the ceiling and wall that were damaged by the water, however while we wait, we do not have to live with gaping holes like some other repair people leave. I would recommend this company and these two gentlemen, anytime to anyone. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Plumber was very punctual, professional, and was very clean. Provided expert advice about toilet to buy and allowed me to purchase my own seats to save money. Friendly and professional service that did not even remotely create a mess for a messy job. The plumber also installed the seats for me even though I was anticipating needing to do it myself. Will go back to them for a shower/bathtub replacement!

He was excellent. He happens to be right across the street. They have a lot of customers from here and they were very good. They gave suggestions for some other work that needed but it wasn’t plumbing, it was a flooring issue but they didn’t do anything and left. They were very prompt. They called us and told when they were coming. He is the best. I thought the price and quality was very good. He called me within an hour of the first call that I made. All of the things that they did was well.

The serviceman showed up as promised and fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. He spent another 5 minutes writing the invoice. He was polite and obviously knew how to do his job. The shocker was the bill he presented. I protested that it was a lot of money for the amount of effort involved. He mumbled something about gas prices. Even if his vehicle was a gas guzzler he couldn't have spent more than $15 getting to my place. Well, his business is located in Hamden and so is my house! To add insult to injury he also said he was giving me a discount. I guess what he charged was perfectly legal but why do I feel ripped off? I must add that I hired the same people to fix some toilets in the house not long ago. That job involved a lot more effort and didn't cost me much more. In fact, I was happy with the work they did. I am not here to find fault with their work, only about what they charged.

They had to open a bedroom wall for access to the plumbing ( this was no surprise to me ). I was shown a fractured slip nut, which caused the leak, and then it was replaced. They then proceeded to unclog the plumbing with a "Super Vac." The tub was then filled and drained to check for leaks and proper drainage. I was very pleased that they had me witness these various steps and any questions I asked were answered politely.

Arrived on time, fixed everything efficiently, very polite, cleaned work area carefully. I was very pleased with this company.

They responded very quickly and I was very pleased. A young kid came and he stuck a light probe in the ceiling that he uses to detect the leak. He probed all around the ceiling and along the pipes and he didn't find anything. By the proximity of the leak and what was above it, he determined that it was the upstairs toilet. He replaced the parts on the toilet. I wanted him to check again with his probe, so he checked again and this time he could see dripping from a pipe. That turned out to be the sink in the second bathroom. He was able to replace the leaking pipe. I had some additional work done while he was repairing the leak. It is $125 an hour, I did get a discount for being part of Angie's List. He did a great job. He was very polite and personable. He put protective plastic on his boots every time he came into the house. It was excellent service, but on the other hand at first he didn't find the problem. He did the toilet work that was not really necessary. After all is said and done, did a get reasonable job done for a reasonable price? I don't know. I only paid $105 because I am a member of Angie's List. It is not a great price, but it is not an unreasonable price. I don't want to mislead other people because there were so many positives about this guy. Next time, I will call around and see what the going rate is. He is supposed to be a specialist and his role was to find the leak and he didn't find it. If I didn't ask him to do one last check before he left, he would have had to come back another day. He wasn't thorough in his job. I would use them again. They do really good work and everyone makes mistakes. I had some unnecessary work done that I paid for.

John was easy to talk with and did not try to take advanatge of us. We had spoken with two other plumbers who turned off both my husband and me, and who both quoted us prices that were 25-50% higher than John. We were so comfortable with his service and professionalism we're asking him back to install a new gas line for the ktichen range.

John called me back within a half hour, gave me a very honest and realistic estimate including worst case scenario. His installer showed up when he said he would, finished the job in good time, did a great job, and then John called me to let me know everything was all set. I am thrilled with the professionalism and responsiveness and can't recommend MGS highly enough!

Moved into a new home a year ago. MGS referred to us for plumbing. John (the owner) is very responsive and professional. His work is done in a timely manner. He is courteous and respectful as are his employees. His fees are fair. I would highly recommend MGS to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable plumbing company.

John did a beautiful job. I subsequently hired him for a small unrelated bit of work, and intend to hire him for any additional plumbing needs I might have.

He offered some good advice and thoroughly explained the problem to us in a way that helped us to understand it.
