We were referred to Ken Maratea by a neighbor who had hired Ken and his colleague, Vic, for both exterior and interior painting and had been impressed with their thorough and careful work. Ken?s estimate for our interior paint job was comparable to others we had received, and they were available immediately, so we hired Ken. Both Ken and Vic have current licenses with the state of CT as well as appropriate insurance coverage (very important to us). We are extremely pleased with the quality of their work, their professionalism and knowledge, and their responsiveness. They are hardworking and left the house neat and tidy at the end of each day. Ken is also very good at follow through: he calls and arrives when he says he will and responds to emails and phone calls promptly. He and Vic are very nice people and easy to be around ? polite and friendly, but also very focused on their work, and we are delighted to recommend Melnick Services highly for this kind of work. Although we hired Ken for interior painting only, he has extensive experience with many types of maintenance and building projects, including bathrooms and kitchens.
