George and his people are great. They do an excellent job. I am very grateful to the people who recommended this company to me. They are very punctual, professional, hard working and good hearted people.

George is the best handyman we have found to date. He is punctual, professional and responsive. My only complaint is that he is so busy you have to schedule him months in advance. He painted all of our downstairs and did a wonderful job. We also have plans for taking out a wall or two so he took the time to discuss what our options would be and how we would want to do it. I appreciated his honesty on what would cost more or be complicated. I appreciated his forthrightness.

Great job replacing water damaged wood in garage. Reinforced and sealed. We had major rain right after and absolutely no water inside. 👍🏻

George came and figured out the problem and fix it quickly and efficiently. Extremely neat and clean. Would highly recommend him.

Excellent. George and his people are great. The woodwork was efficiently and well done. The painting was not perfect, but overall excellent. (I would rate the painting a B or B+ and woodwork A A- which is why I kept the rating as Excellent. Pleasure to work with - only problem was availability! Scheduling was tough, but he was always responsive!!!

Terrific. George was prompt in coming out for an estimate, detailed in what work would be needed, honest, provided low to high estimate. Flexible in discussing costs. He also looked at a small issue I had with a door at no extra charge. When work was done they were prompt, efficient, thorough, did not do more work than needed, cleaned up thoroughly. Didn't "nickel and dime" me. I would definitely call him again for work and recommend him to others.

George and his team exceeded my expectations! He was reliable and very accommodating. He was involved in the planning of the project and work with us to find the best solution and lowest price. They are true professionals. George provided a contract, insurance and a timeline which was met. He also kept us informed along the way explaining each step. We are extremely happy with the work and plan to use George for future projects. I would recommend George's Home Improvement to anyone.

George is very conscientious and punctual. One of his workers is not as careful as George is, and several aspects of the jobs had to be redone. But George always acknowledged when mistakes were made, and made good on his desire to get the job done right. In the end, both bathrooms came out looking great! I'd definitely hire him again.

George and his crew were very good in the following aspects: 1) They came when they said they would 2) They didn't try to up-charge for ridiculous reasons 3) They were done when they said they would be done 4) The work was high quality (there was one or two EXTREMELY MINOR details that were missed, but the quality was excellent, in my opinion, overall). We used to do work like this and we couldn't have done better (which is the highest compliment I can give). The only complaint I have is that he is in high demand so for future work, I have to plan way in advance for George to be able to do it.

George is great. He was very punctual, piRice competitive, friendly and honest. He replaced sheet rock, painted, and did some plumbing. All his work was great, he's a perfectionist and paid great attention to detail.

When Mr. 'George' came to the house the second time (summer of 2015) we again went over the 8 or so individual projects, but when he learned that we were now planning to sell the house he cautioned us to reconsider the repairs. He suggested that we consult with our realtor, but based on the location of our home ("location, location, location") and all of the improvements we had already accomplished, he seriously doubted that we would see back whatever more $ we put in on the repairs. It was most refreshing to have a craftsman suggest that we did not need his labor. He literally talked himself out of the job! He based his advice on his own experience in selling houses. He explained that no matter how many repairs you may do, the potential buyers only see what they may have to do. He freely gave us many suggestions that we could do to enhance the potential sale and after some lengthy conversation about house selling he left and charged us nothing. I'm sorry that I had to check off "NO" for "Would we use this provider in the future" since we are no longer in the area, but if we were, I would definitely call on him again.

He was punctual, competent, clean and efficient. I called one day, he came the following day w/quote, and did the job on the next day.

Very well. George and two employees worked every day except sunday for almost three weeks, really sticking with the job until it was done. All surfaces were left in great preparation for our painting, tiling, and final fixtures. They made no mess they didn't clean up themselves. Did all the electrical and plumbing themselves, which kept things moving. Generally very professional. Steelers fan so monday attitude varied. Knows his stuff, and the price was very fair.

George responded promptly and was able pretty quickly to work the job in between other projects. They helped me with the measurements, picked up the door, installed it in a couple of hours and disposed of the broken one. I was very pleased with the work and will certainly call them again.

George came to the house when he said he would and took all the time he needed to do a perfect job. I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be keeping him busy the next few seasons.

Couldn't be more thrilled with results. Both jobs done in a timely fashion, explained everything, and cleaned up after.

The first thing George did when he assessed my needs was to explain how I could save significant money. Whereas I thought I needed both a new main door and a new storm door, he explained how I could repair my main door cost-effectively. That tip saved me at least $500 - $750. I purchased the storm door on my own, and he then installed it. The door is in an awkward location on my house, which made for a very difficult removal of the old door and frame and equally challenging installation of the new door. He had to build out the frame a bit, and he also primed and painted the brick mold to account for the difference in the way the new door frame fit. During the installation process, George discovered that the doorbell would no longer fit in its original location. It was very old, rusted, and cracked. It therefore didn't survive being removed. He went out and purchased a new one and installed it in a new location. It looks great. When all was said and done, the new door looked as if it had always been there. There were no gaps, marks, or signs of a previous door. Also, George cleaned everything up and took away the old door and all of the packaging for the new one. I would recommend hiring George for your home improvement project.

It went very well. He was reasonably priced and very responsive.

This provider did an excellent job. He and his helper protected my black floors and all my art with appropriate coverings and left the house spotless at the end of each day. George gave me a possible low estimate and a higher one dependent on what issues he found when he opened the ceiling and when he lifted a vintage 1979 toilet. Even though I added the second ceiling repair, the changing of the light fixtures and faucet problem in a second bathroom, plus a small hole in wall, he still remarkably came in $200 under his higher estimate. When he left the job looked perfect. That night I noticed under different lighting the ceiling looked a little uneven. I made a photo, e-mailed it to him and within an hour he was back at the house so he could see what I was seeing. He came back today and spent the whole day refinishing the ceiling until it was perfect. He is a gem of a provider, a real gentleman, and I will definitely use him again.

Very responsive to my initial request for an estimate. Came out to make an assessment within days of first phone contact. Love that follow-up scheduling was conducted via text message (my preference). George kept an eye on the weather forecast, and was able to squeeze the project in a day earlier than originally planned, to beat inclement weather. Super prompt, communicative, and professional.

I was very impressed with George's Handyman Service. We needed to have our bathroom remodeled because of problems with the tile floor coming up, because of an ongoing plumbing leak. While we were at it, we decided to replace the tub, the toilet, the sink and vanity, have the tile walls taken down, the floor retiled, and have everything painted. George came out very promptly, gave an estimate, and started the work about a week later. From the beginning, we were so pleased. He and his partner arrived on time each day and worked hard throughout the day to get it finished in the two weeks he'd promised. Things happened--don't they always with these kinds of projects? The subfloor was much more of a mess than anyone predicted, and needed to be brought up scoop by scoop. The vanity had a crack in it and needed to be returned. But George worked diligently through everything, day after day. He minimized the inconvenience of having work done in the house by cleaning up each day before he left. He was professional and cheerful, and a pleasure to have around--and that's really saying something since I work at home, doing interviews and writing, and having someone else in the house can often be a disruption. When minor things came up after the job was finished, he came immediately out to fix them. We would definitely hire him again! In fact, when we needed some minor repairs to another property, he did that as well.
