+ -1 moreBob did everything in 24 hours and charged $75 for everything. He does not accept checks or credit cards, so be prepared to pay in cash.
Description of Work: Bob fixed the oil leak in my lawn mower, sharpened the blade, changed the oil and air filter, and tightened up the bolts holding the wheels on.

Description of Work: We had a wood chipper that just refused to start. Bob knows small engines and had this job completed in less that 24 hours. Great service, fairly priced.

Description of Work: The drive belt had been broken and the pull start rope broke after unsuccessfully trying to start it (had water in the gas tank). I had bad luck with local repair shops in my town the last times I had a mower serviced, so took a chance on Bob. The short version is that for $90, he tuned it up (including adjusting the valves) , sharpened the blade and scared up a drive belt for my Scotts mower, replaced the pull-cord and it runs like a charm now. Dropped it off Friday and picked it up Monday. Next time I need mwer (or other small engine repair) I'm coming here!

+ -1 moreBob's Small Engine Repair is a small shop in a garage next to an ice cream store. It is very unpretentious -- just an open-front garage filled with tools and parts. Bob is the only employee as far as I know. He keeps unusual hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Bob was friendly and helpful. He made the repair within 48 hours and the mower now not only starts, but seems to run better (faster) than before. We're very pleased with the service.
Description of Work: Bob repaired our Scotts lawnmower that had suddenly refused to start. He not only fixed the primary problem, he also sharpened the blades and changed the oil.
