+ -1 moreThis place is HORRIBLE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Centipede city!!! Overpriced, dishonest, cheap, and will scam you out of every single cent possible. The staff is either incredibly rude or so new (no one stays! a testament to that place) that they know absolutely nothing. If you love having insects as additional roommates, you will love this place! We had an exterminator come three times to no avail. We were killing multiple massive centipedes every day. If that is your sort of thing, you will love this place! The apartment itself is not nice. You can find much nicer apartments in the Hamden area. The gym was okay at best, the pool was okay, and there is really nothing else to this place or price. Our cabinets were crooked as could be and they charged us for dents that existed well before we moved in. Good luck moving out - they will charge you as much as they can for things they don't want to take care of. This place is frankly not worth it and a massive mistake. A year from ****. I will say, the staff is able to respond to your calls quickly. However, you will be calling ALL the time! I wish I listened to every warning I had from multiple friends. Please, do not make my mistake! Avoid Aspen Glen!!!

Description of Work: This community attracts people with the move in specials and discounts of 2 months free for 1 year lease, but please be aware of this and never get into this trap. They will give 2 months free but will squeeze your money more than that while moving out even if you give your unit in a very good condition. They will spot out small things like you have stain on your kitchen counter top and bathroom counter top and will charge you more than 2 times of the original cost. While moving in we generally notice these but will not consider much by thinking we are just renting it and will not get everything new. But while moving out they inspect your unit and will ask to have everything in new condition at which you will realize you were trapped. Just to be logical, we can never keep anything in new condition as they will have their normal wear and tear and also the fact that what ever they provide you in the unit are the lowest quality products which will not have any life. For me I stayed for 1 year 2 months and while moving out they charged me $2650 just by saying that the kitchen counter-top and master bedroom counter-top has small stains and need to replace them which is ridiculous. Finally, I suggest/Warn any one considering this property as their next house not to just go by the discounts and specials they offer. Please be aware of all these as this is not just me who faced this but had numerous friends from the community who has similar problem. BE ALERT AND I NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE
