Aloha Swimming Pools & Spas LLC

I have been a customer of Aloha Pools for 5 years. Recently, when Hurricane Ida hit Connecticut I was away on vacation and was very worried about my pool overflowing and water damage to the pump. One concerned call to Aloha and Justin was right out there to check my pool while I was away, lower the water level and make sure the pump was working properly. I was able to relax and enjoy the remainder of my vacation. I couldn't be happier with the prompt service I receive from Aloha Pools who opens and closes my pool every year, resolves any maintenance issues and provides me with all supplies/chemicals at a better than comparative price. Aloha Pools replaced my skimmer basket and it seemed that I didn't need a new liner. When pool was filled, water was leaking from the filter return that had been repaired wrongly by another service. They had actually glued the return to the liner so what also would have been a simple replacement of that fitting turned into a new liner. I was very flexible with as to when they could do the work and let them do the job as their schedule allowed. This turned out to be when I was at work. They did a great job. Everything looks perfect and they left the work site cleaner than when they arrived. Electrical cords, pumps and hoses had been left in the pool draining the water preparing for the job. These were coiled up and placed neatly nearby. They also folded up the winter cover and pillow that had been damaged by Nemo.

Aloha Pools was unresponsive to my request for service. I first called on a Monday and left a message, but my call was not returned. I called the next day and left another message stating that I had read good reviews about their business on Angie's List. My call was returned immediately. I then spoke with the owner, Justin, and explained the problem I was having with my pool. He told me he was actually going to be in my town that day and would stop by my house to check out my pool pump (weather permitting). He never showed up nor was I able to get in touch with him during the week despite leaving 2 more phone messages. Aloha's answering machine states that "calls will be returned by noon the next day" and that is not true. Communication is so important. If you are unable to do the job or schedule something, just let the customer know, rather than leaving them hanging. I wanted to give Aloha a chance because of the good reviews on Angie's List, but unfortunately my experience was far from satisfactory.

Called them in the middle of their busy season. They told me front that they were busy and would fit me in as they could with no guarentee. Did not try and up sellme a new liner as other providers did. Installed skimmer box and also set up new pump I provied.) and hoses with only added cost for 2 new hoses. Price for hoses was at standard price. Will call them for a future repairs. Highly recomend

The owner came buy and checked the spa thoroughly and did some minor repairs. The majority of the parts needed to be ordered. A few weeks later he returned and replaced parts and checked everything again. Spa is working great. Good information was provided on spa upkeep and proper chemical usage. I will definitely use Aloha again if there is a problem with the spa.

I give them high ratings and will continue to use them again in the future.
