LANCE SCAPING LLP

I was very disappointed by Lance's management style when I worked for him. During my time at the company, I observed several concerning behaviors. For instance, Lance removed his shirt during a workday at a client's property, which made me uncomfortable. Later that day, he reprimanded me for not keeping up my appearance because I got dirt on my face while working as a landscaper. However, the most troubling aspect of Lance's leadership is his lack of respect for his employees. He consistently scrutinizes their work and even criticizes their habits, like drinking energy drinks. He ridicules employees for aspects of their lives that are irrelevant to the work. He even deducted half an hour of pay from me for taking a fifteen-minute break on a scorching hot day to get some water and a quick bite to eat. Despite Lance's initial appearance of kindness, getting to know him revealed his selfish and peculiar nature. The only positive aspect of Lance Landscaping is its hardworking employees, who are left to deal with the challenges created by Lance on a weekly basis. Lance Landscaping's biggest fault as a company is Lance himself and his lack of empathy in treating his employees, even when they get hurt at a job by his own doing. Lance's first response to that employee was just to "walk it off" or "straighten your leg". This example shows that Lance only views his employees as a means to profit from, not as people.

They came while we slept, plowed the gravel driveway, and dug out our cars and walkway.

This company was our lawn service before the economy took a nosedive. They continue to plow and sand our driveway in the winter months.We have dealt with them for at least 10 years and have always found them to be polite, prompt and thorough. They always return phone calls, let you know when they will be late and get in touch a few times a year to see if you are satisfied and whether you need anything else. Very reliable company that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Mr. Brown and his crew arrived as promised, cut and cleared away dead limbs, leaves, cut grass from front to back and side to side trimmed everything that needed attention and hauled away all the debris and left a beautifully renewed landscape. My mother was very, very pleased with his work and professional attitude.

The owner is very responsible and prompt. He can be counted on to do good work. Sometimes he hires young people for the summer months who may not be as meticulous about trimming around trees and cleaning up brush after any major clearing. I would recommend, but you need to be clear about expectations.
