Beware of this company, the work was average but the pricing was ridiculous and not communicated before doing the job, they just show up and send you a bill.

IPM Landscaping was hired last summer (2021) for bi-weekly lawn mowing. We had spoken on the phone and through email about possible future tree/shrub trimming. Through all conversations we specified our beloved 50 year old, 16 ft, heavily blooming Rhododendrons were not to be trimmed or pruned. We specified â do not to touch them without authorization. We did authorize two forsythia shrubs to be trimmed,  and again our email stated not to trim the Rhododendrons. In October IPM crew cut all the Rhododendrons down to 4 feet without getting any authorization. We had 3 arborists examine the shrubs and reported Improper heading and stub cuts were made. Improper rejuvenation pruning.  Damage to interior structure. Trimmed at the wrong time of year (a severe pruning in the fall removes buds the shrub has set for spring and renders the severed branches vulnerable to freezing temperatures.)  Shrubs will have to be reshaped in the spring to try to make corrections which will diminish their size further. The three certified arborists described the work as appalling, shocking, terrible and horrible. Owner James Petrillo was contacted but he was not willing to make amends or resolve this consumer complaint. Mr Petrillo canceled further ongoing yard service without providing a notice of cancellation.  Because of this incident, we can not recommend IPM Landscaping of Haddam CT.

Fast response to my initial email. He called within the hour and met with me the next day. Once I hired him, he had someone out the same day to mow. Great job, great service, would definitely recommend

IPM Landscapes, LLC, cuts our grass on a reg basis. They also provide spring and fall clean up.

Quality job. Good to work with. Had to work out a billing dispute after first lawn mowing. We came to a fair resolution after a brief discussion.

Jim has been great to work with --after only a month I'm seeing things looking up! He's also flexible - since I'm about to be (temporarily!) unemployed we're working to still keep my lawn looking decent Also - plus, I had some brush cut on his first visit and he took that with him - which saved me a call to the city yard!!

Poor customer service. Did not return calls in a timely fashion. No reason given. He did indicate that one of his employees was injured. He also stated that his computer crashed. He did mow the grass but it was so high at the time, that he left huge amounts of grass clippings on the ground. He will finish the job on 6/01/17. He is finishing the job in a timely fashion. Grass was cut again and is much better. The work that was done on my garden beds, trimming all the bushes, trees in the back and mulching was excellent.

They are great done everything I ask on time and friendly

I love the fact that they were so prompt. I put in my service request through Homeadvisor this morning and hours later they were at my home doing the work. I would definitely use them again.
