Really, really well. Mike drew out a plan for my garden, and none of the other contractors I contacted did this. He put in a really classy walkway, too.

The excavation went well. The only thing I would change is the timing. The project began right before Memorial Day so with the long weekend, I had a messy back yard. After that, the project was completed in a little over two days. The team was professional and always made sure I was happy with each step of the project.

It was a weed treatment. The experience was faultless, as usual.

The service was excellent. I was a little unhappy because I thought there was a dip in one spot. He sent his crew right out the next day and was apologetic. It was perfect after that.

They were very prompt in starting and finished the job faster than expected.

Mike was terrific. We had to wait for our Condo Association to begin their portion of the wall. Mike was very accommodating even though we were quickly entering colder weather, not to mention scheduling & planning difficulties the delay presented. Mike was the lowest bidder on the job and his work was simply superior to the other contractor's. We couldn't be happier w/the new wall and plantings.

Guerrera Landscaping has provided consistent reliable service to our family for approximately 20 years. In the dead of night in heavy snowfall, Mike & Michelle are clearing our long driveway. When heavy rains in spring created flooding, they were on site & installed a new drainage system which solved the problem. Their team has removed thick undergrowth & mulched areas carefully on this wooded lot. In a small town with family businesses, Guerrera' s Landscaping has provided the most dependable professional service of any business in the area. Very reasonable prices as well. As the job progressed I had several concerns about Guerrera Landscaping following the originally agreed on lay out. I spent several hr in rain with a laser level laying out the walkway as originally agreed on, in contract drawing. They pulled up the walkway relayed it the finished product was closer but still not as originally agreed or laid out. I had concerns over the workmanship as I saw they got closer to finishing. I pointed some of these out I was assured that the finishing steps would address these. uneven pavers, inconsistency in pitch, large gaps (over 1 inch) Still concerned I had a landscape and patio contractor inspect the job the day after Guerrera Landscaping left. They confirmed the concerns I had in the workmanship. I asked for a quote to get the work corrected. Guerrera Landscaping, without a walk down of the job,sent me a bill to be paid in full. I responded with a registered with a letter citing what issue were left unresolved asking for his suggestions on how address them. Not paying the bill in full and holding back enough money to have the work completed was recommendation I received from the BBB, CT Consumer protection agency ( My DCP case 15-06 is the 3erd on file with them), and friends in the construction business. Guerrera Landscaping responded very angry phone call demanding full payment and they would complete the work in the spring, Afterwards then saying I could hold back maybe $500 or he would come and rip out the pavers. The estimate I received to repair and finish Guerrera's work was going to add up to $2500 and $3500. Guerrera Landscaping then send back a registered letter acknowledging the items I had cited that needed to be addressed but still demanding full payment and added 2% late payment penalty 14 day after last day of work 7 day after initial bill. He then called and threatened to have a mechanics lean placed on my property even though all payment had been paid up as agreed up to the agreed ?paid in full at completion?. Even though he had sent a registared letter stating that the job was incomplete. On the advice of DCP then went to a lawyer. At the advice of my lawyer who pointed out. 1 Do I want to spend the time and up-front money to fight this? After receiving judgment the DCP would have guaranteed the payment. 2 I would have had to give Guerrera Landscaping the opportunity to come and complete the work correctly. Something that both my lawyer and Guerrera Landscaping's lawyer thought would be unlikely. I agreed to pay $1900 less than the original contract to get a release. It will cost me more than that to get the work completed. All in all a very bad contractor experience.

Mike Guerrero refined our plan beautifully, was prompt in providing estimates and updates, and in performing the work. He responded well to changes and suggestions, and offered his own suggestions re: stonework, mitigating drainage issues and plantings. The work was done on time, expeditiously, and it came out beautifully.

We have a very long driveway and have been using Guerrera Landscaping to clean it after the heaviest snow falls. This year there were so many storms that the snow accumulated everywhere. We had a couple of warmer days which caused the snow to start to melt. Then, the weather turned frigid again and the melted snow became a sheet of ice on the driveway surface. We needed an oil delivery but the oil company didn't want to chance coming up the driveway for fear that the truck would get stuck. We called Guerrera Landscaping and they came in less than an hour. They prepared the driveway according to the oil company specifications and we were able to get the oil we needed that same day. We are completely satisfied with their service and will use them in the future.

Today was a blizzard here in Connecticut. When going out to snow-blow my driveway my machine gave way. Was in a major bind to get a solid 15 inches of snow removed from across our entire driveway. After trying a couple of locals, found Guerrera Landscaping LLC on Angie's List and gave them a call at about 2:10 in the afternoon knowing that this is probably one of their busiest and most chaotic days of the winter. They answered immediately (from their truck). Made no commitments other than they would get back to us in an hour or so. As promised they did but were totally honest in saying they probably couldn't get to us today. They were kind and apologetic. (Amazed they would have even called back.) I told them I would try to find someone else. Then about a half hour later they called back and said if we still needed them they found a bit of time were not far away. Even though we did find someone else, we told them to come (and cancelled the other service.) Mike was at our home in about 5 minutes. Had the driveway cleared a few minutes later and couldn't have been nicer. Would absolutely recommend them and use them again. Response to a new customer making a "cold" call on a Blizzard day was well beyond expectations.

Mike came over to give me an estimate the day after I contacted him by telephone. He stated that the work could be done during the following week. True to his word, he did the work according to the schedule that we agreed to. The quality of work was first class, and the crew that did the work was very professional and courteous. I would recommend Mike's services to anyone.

Guerrero landscaping came in and cleaned the grounds on either side of the driveway to our home and put down wood chips to beautify the approach. The finished work looked fabulous. They did the work quickly and were a pleasure to deal with.

We have been using Guerrera's Landscaping for our weekly lawn maintenance and have contracted them for our snow plowing needs also. We recently contracted them to do drainage work and a retaining wall. the owner, Mike , is always very responsive and appears to have good prices. We have been pleased with their work on the lawn and do suspect we will have any problems with the other work they will do at the end of this month. Mike,a crew finished the work promptly and were very well organized and clean in doing the job. We will definitely hire him for more work.

We had a great experience with Guerrera Landscaping! Scrambling to get our house ready to put on the market, we waited a little too long to hire a landscaper for shrub planting and sodding. The owner, Mike, was wonderful and agreed to do the work for us within a couple weeks. In just under a week, Mike's crew came out and planted seven shrubs in the front of the house and then sodded the area in front of the shrubs. Planting the shrubs was not an easy task, as a number of very old yews had previoulys been removed in that area with the stumps left behind, about 3-4 inches below the surface. When the planing was completed, we were totally amazed - all of the shrubs had been beautifully and symmetrically placed! They also cleaned up and sodded the area in back of the house where a number of winter-damaged junipers had been removed and laid white stone between the sodded area up to the foundation. As a result, both our front and back yards have been totally transformed. We couldn't be happier with all of the work that was done by Mike's crew!!

Excellent. I would recommend Guerrera for any landscaping project (They have done many for us) and/or services. They are reliable, reasonably priced and do an excellent job. Last summer we had Guerrera rip out some of our front beds and replant them with new plants. Mike even threw in some sod that was left over from his booth at the Guilford Fair. Michelle's choices were excellent and we can't wait to see the plants blooming this spring. We just hired Guerrera to clean out some overgrown vegetation around our driveway and install a drainage channel so our driveway drains better and doesn't flood when we get monsoon spring rains. And week in week out they are here mowing the lawn or plowing our driveway. Since 1997 we've renewed our monthly budget deal many times, which is a testimony to the excellent service they provide us.

Guerrera Landscaping dropped off a "sample book" showing types and colors of material for our project. After our choices were made, we discussed details on the placement and flow of the walkway with Mike Guerrera. Since the front yard is bordered by stone walls, we didn't want a plain, sharply angled "sidewalk" sort of look but something with a slightly flowing outline that repeats the colors of the wall. The other consideration was placement. I wanted it to be a just little bit further from the house so that the winter sun could shine on the walk and help keep it dry and free from ice after the show has been cleared. That extra exposure made a significant difference, particularly noticeable during the harsh winter of 2013-2014. We marked where we wanted the in-point from the driveway to the walkway to be and Guerrera Landscaping took it from there. The results were outstanding. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend Guerrera Landscaping.

Guerrera was prompt and did a nice job with the grading which was done in 1 day to my suprise. He also cordinated with my irrigation contractor so the whole things was hands off for me.
