We first met the Ellery and Kevin to go over what was to be done on the house talked about the approximate price. We met them on inspection day, both Ellery and Kevin, and they went through the whole house, one of them stayed with us to answer questions as the other went into various rooms, attic, cellar, identifying issues. One example is that they identified that the hot water heater was a bit old, and we should think about getting it replaced. Sure enough, a week before we signed on the contract, the hot water heater stopped functioning. Luckily, based on the inspection, we asked for replacement credit for the unit, which the previously owner work with us on. They saved us a lot of headache moving into the new house. A week after the inspection, the followed up with us to make sure we were set. I am very impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism.
Description of Work: Coastal Home Inspection, specifically Ellery and Kevin, inspected our new home before the purchase. We actually met the provider when they were used to inspect our old home by our buyers, and loved how thorough they were, so we decided to use them for the new home.
