+ -1 moreTerrible customer service, especially their office staff. I pay for them to come to my property multiple times over the course of two years and they never got my sprinkler system working. I would make an appointment with them to come fix my system, and they would leave before finishing the job because they had another appointment. Don’t waste your time or money - there are much better options in the area.

+ -1 moreNo problems with the system shut down last Autumn nor the start-up this Spring. Everything was working, no winter damage to system. Fast and responsive. Gave me some good advice this year on how to set up the system to use less water.
Description of Work: Spring time start up of irrigation system and overall inspection of the system Summer Rain also shut the system down last Autumn and the Spring start-up success is largely dependent on how well the system was winterized.

+ -1 moreIt went like clockwork. We installed a complete irrigation system that injected liquid fertilizer on a timer. This was not a simple job. They had many obstacles to navigate. We talked about it, expressed our preferences and the foreman got it done the way we asked for. Their foreman is a great guy who stops by the house to observe how the new turf is weathering the heat and adjusting the schedule accordingly. This is one of our top rated vendors.

+ -1 moreIn our $7,000 installation contract with Summer Rain they agreed to provide a 2-year warranty for their work. Summer Rain improperly installed the irrigation hoses and they are flooding all of our new landscaping. Despite it being less than a year after completion, Summer Rain reneged on their warranty promise, amazingly telling us that "it's not our problem anymore". I have never before encountered such a dishonorable service vendor.

+ -1 moreJust ok. They are the main sprinkler company here in Greenwich. I really wanted to like them but i continue to have issues with their company. One no show appointment and when i called the technician had already logged he was there even though he never showed. This year i made an appointment and after waiting an hour and calling they said the technician would be there and after another hour and a half and still no one (also was getting dark) i rescheduled. the new appointment was made and again a no show. When i called they said there was a miss communication. So frustrated with this company...will be looking for a new one to service my sprinkler system.
Description of Work: They have serviced my sprinkler system for over four years. Opened and closed system & made a few repairs done on a pre existing system.

Description of Work: Tried calling more than once and nobody ever returns calls. We were looking for someone to do a whole new lighting system for our property but if someone can't call back to get a new sale I can only imagine what this means if they actually do.

+ -1 moreThey are good. I spend $136 on their service and they come out and turn on the sprinkler system, test them and they also have to replace part of the spray nozzles. They are very good and also very punctual. I would recommend them to others. Their cost could be cheaper. Their cost could be cheaper and that bugs me.
Description of Work: I use Summer Rain for lawn irrigation. The last time I used them was in spring time and I actually have to call them to close up my sprinklers.

+ -1 moreSame as above but they gave me an estimate and map of everything they were going to install and what type of equipment (not that i am an expert on this). everything went smoothly and it is night and day between how everything looks between then and now. he also helped me on how to set the sprinklers so my kids could run through them.
Description of Work: Summer Rain installed sprinklers for my lawns, not the flower beds. the estimate was fair, they gave me three references who were all excellent (one was a landscaper themselves), they installed everything on time and when i had a question they responded by cell phone within 30 minutes. i may do more work with them but they were excellent.

Description of Work: I asked them to come to my home to walk the grounds with me so we could plan on installing sprinklers in various sites to maintain the grounds and various special flower beds. The gentleman who arrived did the most unprofessional, quick and abrupt walk with me I could ever imagine and then said, when spring comes, call us again and left. I would never call them back again. No discussion as to what they would recommend where, how many sprinklers where, and so while I had every intention of using this company for all the work, I would never ever call them for anything again---and I needed a complete underground irrigation system--but they were so unprofessional in their walk-through!

+ -1 moreMy experience with Summer Rain has been excellent. They have always been on time and have arranged appointments at my convenience. Sometimes they come early and wait patiently for my (on time!) arrival. They return phone calls promptly and are courteous. The workers are careful not to leave messes in the house. It is a tremendous relief after unpleasant experiences with another company.
Description of Work: Summer Rain is the company I use to open, close and repair my in-ground lawn sprinkler system. The system was installed by another company that proved so unreliable about appointments that I had to change companies. Summer Rain recently closed the system for the winter. They blew out the water from the pipes, checked them for damage, checked the control system in the basement and garage and made sure everything was in order.

Description of Work: They come and maintain the sprinkler system for our two acres of lawn. We have thirty zones and the last time that they came there was a broken line and they adjusted a few heads.

It was a pleasure dealing with him and his office staff. They were able to schedule the work on very short notice and did an expert job. Also, all their plumbing was first rate and the plumber they used to do the work inside my house was lovely and very experienced.
Description of Work: Installation of irrigation for front and side lawns and beds (rear lawn to follow once patio is re-done).
