drain cleaning
 + -1 moreI called Greenwich Drains on Saturday, 9/17/16 early in the day and left a message with the service who answered. They had done work for us before over the past 10 years or more and my husband thought they would be the best ones to rectify our problem. Today is Tuesday 9/20, and they STILL have not returned our call! After speaking with other real estate professionals, apparently this is very common -- they do not return phone calls.
Description of Work: Clogged drain leading from dishwasher to bathroom shower.

 + 0 moreSince Mike has been here before, he know exactly where to go & what to look for. He snaked the main sewer line & discovered the situation was caused by tree roots which he removed. He also snaked the tub line to ensure a an unblocked drain & continued to monitor it for a few minutes to ensure no problem. I know Mike didn't want want to have to some out on a Sunday morning, however, being a consummate professional he appeared within minutes of my call. I think the bill was reasonable for a Sunday - we had had a conversation not too long ago on which i mentioned that in these emergencies the customer is really at Mike's whim. I can attest by his response to that he would never think to take advantage of the situation and gauge the customer. Mike thoroughly explained the situation & told me in turn how to explain to the landlord the major task he is going to have to undertake to ensure tree roots do not keep intruding into the pipes. Yes, it's a major job, but having Mike out here twice in 2 months for the same issue is evident of an ongoing problem that must be rectify before it becomes a health issue. I would recommend Greenwich Drains highly. Trustorworthy, reliable, honest & pleasant.
Description of Work: I had a toilet that wouldn't flush properly - the water swirled around a bit but wouldn't go down, but then would slowly seep down on its own after toilet stopped running. Concurrently, sewer water was backing up the tub drain (ick!!!). I called Mike at Greenwich Drains who explained to me that being a Sunday, (early Sunday morning, no less), its in would be more costly. He was here within 5 minutes & took care of the problem - tree roots.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE AN EXCELLENT SERVICE. THEY PERSISTED UNTIL THEY FOUND THE CLOG AND ADVISED WHAT THEY BELIEVED NEEDED TO BE DONE.
