Description of Work: This was nothing more than me paying $50 to have them come out and give an estimate that most other companies will do for free. The ad had mentioned an analysis and report, so I expected something similar to a report that we would get from a home inspector or an energy audit. In this case, the salesperson came out and just tried to sell me a bunch of services. When I asked for a written report, he seemed annoyed and he promised to send one later, but I never received it and never had any other contact from the company after he left. I understand that the point of the ad was to generate business for the company, but, again, I received a less detailed estimate for $50 than most other companies give for free. Total scam.

I thought this person was licensed but he just sent an electiricin who charged me 575. for about 10 minutes work. then I was charged 99 for c&c If it was going to be that much I would have gotten my own electirician. but rip off.

Description of Work: They arrived to do appraisal but never delivered drawing plan as part of package! Even after I contacted Angie's List, they promised but never delivered plan. He seemed competent when here--but evidently took on more than he could deliver.

Description of Work: The electrician who came over was great. I was asking him a lot of questions about how to do things. CC himself came out for the last hour. I didn't find him very helpful. He talked a lot about what he could do and how he would follow up.

Description of Work: In addition to doing work on my house, Chris did a full home inspection to see if there was anything else that was needed to be fixed on my home. He found that one of my skylights was leaking, a unit of my air conditioning was not functioning properly and also fixed some of the electrical areas that were in need of repair. I also had him check my roof and attic. Chris was fair in his pricing and comprehensive with his work. I would use him again.

Description of Work: I bought the deal of the day for this company to install two ceiling fans, so I have already paid in full. Then, I was "accidentally" billed twice for the deal. After getting that resolved, I called to schedule an appointment. I was told the first available appointment was a month away, but I agreed & scheduled. I planned my entire day around this appointment (I have three kids do this is no small feat), and they never showed. I called & left a message, but they never called back. I am still, as a write, without a call back, out $99, without my fans installed, and incredibly upset. As far as I am concerned, I was ripped off. Stay away from this company.

Description of Work: We are a decorating company and use Kris as our contractor with clients who want to remodel kitchens, baths, want build ins or mantels installed, or any other contractual work done.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal and scheduled an appointment for them to come out.

Description of Work: I had C&C do the following: install a new ceiling light and wire it install a new receptacle for an AC replace a couple of ceiling lights replace a receptacle.

Description of Work: The job included a complete bathroom remodel, including removal of the existing bathroom equipment. This involved tiling, flooring, plumbing, new electrical outlets, new cabinets and a new exhaust. This mandated rerouting an existing air vent before new cabinets could be installed The new bathroom has glass walls for the shower and reuses certain components, such as the toilet and sink. In addition, we received a refit of kitchen cabinets doors, had of kitchen tiles regrouted, and had some flashing on the roof repaired. The price does not include materials.

Description of Work: Interviewed 6 contractors. C&C/Chris was awarded the job to gut and remodel small bathroom with exhaust ceiling fan and whirlpool tub. Additionally, job included upgrade of pipes and electricity. Price excluded fixtures! Of course there were additions to the original agreement. Onced exposed, the ancient pipes needed to be changed (leaking pipes were the original impetus for this project). Radiator was inset at my request to maximize space. Water damaged coat closet below bathroom was also repaired at my request. Room was gutted (old oversized iron tub, layers of concrete on walls), plumbing updated, insulation installed, walls, floor and ceiling built, radiator inset, whirlpool tub installed, exhaust fan and ceiling lights installed, walls primed and painted, tiles laid, inset shelf built (just beautiful detail) and all other small details addressed. Everything is level, even and square!

Description of Work: C&C returned my initial phone message the same day, made an appointment for two days later, and called that morning to tell me they were on the way. I asked them to add a light over the bathtub/shower upstairs, and reinstall a pendant light in the kitchen. Since I had bought the wrong type of fixture and switches for the bathroom, Chris, the contractor, went out and got what was needed -- actually a much nicer light than I had bought. While he was gone, electrician prepared the necessary opening in the ceiling (into the attic above), and the wiring. Within two hours, I had a beautiful new light. The wallpaper in the room and the ceiling around the light were undamaged (!), and the team cleaned up the area completely. The light in the kitchen was reinstalled in literally minutes. I was very impressed with C&C's professional approach to managing their schedule and their work. They were delightful to deal with, and I have complete confidence that their work is of the highest standard. Although this work was limited to electrical, I expect that they would approach other types of home improvements just as well.
