Krys, the owner of C&C Home Improvements, arrived on time, listened to our plans, had practical advice that made us rethink some of our ideas such as replacing the tub with a shower (as this might not be valued by a prospective owner). He suggested a bath and tile vendor and we received a discount because of Krys. His workers were punctual, quiet, and skilled craftsman. The bathroom is nearing completion and far exceeded our expectations. The workers always put down drop clothes to avoid carrying dust around and by the end of the day cleaned up so the intrusion on daily life was minimized. There were none of the horror stories you sometimes hear about contractors. In fact, we found Krys through Angie's list and I would recommend his company without reservation. When questions came up, I was able to reach him quickly even on weekends. That is very reassuring and we are very pleased with the quality of work and esthetics of the final job. When an old pipe broke when the old toilet was being removed, there was a leak into the basement. Krys brought in fans and heaters and dried the carpets and resolved the issue quickly.

Contractor came and reviewed work in professional manor, but follow thru we poor. He provided basic pricing on HW heater replacement (20% premium over other quote). He tried a hard up-sell in size etc. but most importantly, he never provided a quote for original remodeling effort. When asked he said he would get to it but it was never received. He seems knowledgable, but appears to have made Angies List Deal offer to generate leads then discards ones he is not interested in. 2 weeks and no estimate is not acceptable.

I felt like this contractor did not provide what was promised in their Big Deal. It just felt like a contractor pricing out a project. Most contractors will do estimates like this for free, so I don't know why I had to pay $75 for this service.

Chris was very prompt in returning my calls, but never answered my emails. I would have used him if he was honest with me up front about how much more money was involved with the offer. And it didn't come out until a week before the work was going to start. Not good.

Our experience with Chris has been first rate. He has diagnosed issues (e.g. leaks, etc.) that other contractors could never figure out. He is a very hard worker and it is not unusual for him to have men on the job 7 days per week. Chris has a good network of artisans that he can call on to provide special services. The best thing about Chris is that he really knows what he is doing. He is more than a GC, as he has the skills to do just about anything himself. We have worked with many contractors over the years. Chris is the best and I would recommend him without qualification.

First class workmanship; installed protection of carpet outside bath. Following completion, all debris was removed and the space left clean. Very pleased with the work and the contractors ability and willingness to work within my schedule. During pricing of the work, calls and emails were returned promptly.

This house is very old so every time he touches something the price goes up. It isn?t his fault, it?s just that everything needs to be updated. He always asks us if it is okay and he?ll do it if we say yes or he?ll leave it if we say no. There are so many things that we didn?t expect that the price is going up. He is a very honest and nice guy. I have absolutely no complaints about this company. He has done a lot of work in the area and we went to peoples? houses to look at his work. There was a broken pipe under the floor in the basement that he was able to find so he took care of that for us. We don?t know how this house was still standing! He calls us with ever change he makes, he gives us advice, and I even go places with him to pick out colors and things. He tells you the things that you have to do but he also lets you know about things that could be done in a few years just so you know. I liked him right away and he was cheaper than the other contractor. The crew is also really great. He should be done in time and the only things that are keeping him back are things that I haven?t done. He is very nice and we are probably going to use him again for our next project. He lives in the area and he is always here with his crew.

This work covered approx. 3 years and was done on time and priced properly. If contractor could not make a schedule I was contacted immediately to tell me when work would be done. Work site was always cleaned up at the end of a day. I have been pleased with all the work that was done. I would recommend this company for almost any type of new construction, remodeling , additions or re-building.

Received numerous price quotes for extensive renovation job. Went with their company because of price and ease of communication. Complete renovation of ancient garage. Renovation of main entrance incl matching contemporary carpentry to original carpentry. Completely remodeled entire basement. Built from scratch oak wardrobe for dressing area. Could go on and on. Top notch effort which gave us a top notch house.

Kris is very knowledgeable and personable, and his workmen are polite and capable. It was all done in winter, and with little mess or inconvenience! We were very happy with all of the work, and will have more projects for him soon!

We had many projects to be completed (and we're still not done) that were started in 2008.

Stripped off all old finishes. Redid finishes on walls, ceiling and cabinets. Did general carpentry and fine capentry for cabinetry. Also did tile work including installation of stone on floor and tile backsplash. They were very clean and precise. Came up with good workarounds when issues came up. Reliable and trustworthy. We would certainly use again.
