Description of Work: They were supposed to provide me with a detailed evaluation of my waterproofing needs. It was not done. They gave me a lump sum estimate, which turned out to be almost triple another vendor, Vulcan. I ended up hiring Vulcan, who did the job at roughly the estimated cost of $5000. I was singularly unimpressed by this company and would never use them for anything. Angie's List promptly returned my $50, which I appreciate. STAY AWAY!

Description of Work: It was $50 for an inspection and recommendation regarding a wet basement. He came, suggested a sump pump might be the solution and said he would get back to me. He never did. I wrote him on November 11th, 2012 when I was asked by Angie's List to write a recommendation. I explained that rather than write a terrible recommendation, I thought it made more sense to write him and ask why I never heard from him. He has not replied to that letter.

Description of Work: Electrician was called to attach light fixture to existing area in ceiling, or whatever else he could accomplish within the allotted 2 hours of time. I did not tell the electrician of the many other works I would have had for him to do beyond the coupon rate of which I would have paid him his regular hourly fee for I wanted to see how much he would accomplish at the coupon rate. I was disappointed when he immediately began to complain that he was losing money on this job and that he was only doing this as a favor to the company. Then to the business of putting up the ceiling light, he discovered that he had to go and look for a screw or something. He was gone for about 30 minutes. I went to his truck to tell him that I thought that I had found the missing piece but I could not find him. Eventually he showed up and told me that he was on the floor in the back of the van and did not hear me calling. However, I do recollect that the van was dark and the doors were closed. Well, as you might guess, time ran out and I am yet wondering what did he accomplish within that 2 hour span.

Description of Work: What a ripoff. First someone showed up an hour earlier than scheduled but wasn't prepared to perform the service. Said he would be back in two hours but he didn't show up. I had to call to get someone to show up. They finally did...after the time I said I was available. Nevertheless, I stayed home to make sure they performed the roof inspection. They never even got on the roof. Their attic inspection included getting to only one part of a two-part attic. They just wanted to sell me extra services. I did want them to intall new flashing sleeves around the plumbing vents but they wanted $200 -- too much in my opinion since I had the parts and thought that they could do this easily while they were on the roof for inspection. But since they weren't prepared to get on the roof for an inspection, they said they needed to reschedule. I cancelled their service and figure I can do the job myself in about 20 minutes.

Description of Work: I purchased roof inspection and maintenance visit from this company through Angies list. Company missed our first appointment. I called them again for second. They showed up at the house and just inspected the roof for problems.They didnt put in a nail or add silicon to anything. They were knowledgeable but lazy. Basically, I paid $150 for an estimate.

Description of Work: Great price for 2 hrs electical service. Chris, who did the work was very professional. I will certainly use C&C Quality Home Improvements again.

Description of Work: Although the electrician who performed the work was knowledgable and his work was neat, he was irritable and annoyed when he arrived and was unprofessional in his demeanor.

Description of Work: Got a coupon from Angie's List and scheduled an appointment. Called and confirmed appointment the morning of the scheduled day. That evening no one showed up, I received no phone call and my calls were avoided. Highly unprofessional.

Description of Work: They installed two sensors on lights that I already had. On the front porch they left a big hole surrounding the sensor light. They put the wrong settings on the sensor lights. When its night time, the lights run constantly. He dropped the screws to the light switch and was only able to put three in instead of six. He said he was going to come back and fix the whole and and change the settings, and he as not returned.

Description of Work: Showed up late for first appointment. Never showed up after that. Never returned phone call very irresponsible.

Description of Work: The contractor made an appointment for 11:30 to 12:00 on a saturday morning and I waited around for him to come. By 1:30, he had not even called or showed up. I called him and he said that he was tied up on another estimate and when I asked him if he could come over since I had waited on a saturday for him, he said that now he could not. I asked him why he didn't call and he said that he could come over on Sunday but not until around 11:30. He didn't apologize for having me wait on a Saturday and then not even call.I said that while I could see him early Sunday, I had family plans after 10AM. I told him that I was very disappointed in him and his rating at Angies List ( he was the FIRST contractor that I had contacted to use since joining the List a short time ago ) The experience left a bad taste in my mouth as to these " listed " contractors.

Description of Work: I agree with previous reports about the Big Deal coupon being a rip off. All he did was come and have a look, what any contractor does for free. A written report promised never materialized. There was no testing of anything, just a sales job to buy 20k ish of french drains. i really feel like this "coupon" 's cost should be refunded.

Description of Work: Custom rebuild of our home, which included custom kitchen, 4 baths with marble & granite, entertainment center, deck, siding, roof, & addition above garage. I would highly refer him to anybody, this is the 3rd time we used Chris. Plus, if there are any problems, he's there anything to fix whatever happens! On a scale of 1 to 10, he's a 9.6. One call, that's all, and Chris will be there.

Description of Work: He remodled one of our bathrooms. I used him before for other projects like new roof, windows, plumbing, etc. The work is very good and have referred him to my friends.
