Salesman Mark was very informative on the product. That we were purchases. Very professional presentation. After the installer was excellent. He went a have and beyond on installing the units correctly and liking any flaws that came up. Excellent job all around.

Met a representative at my home to go over work to be completed and obtain an estimate. The estimate had 2 mistakes and required a revision. The representative never came back with a final estimate. No calls or email - nothing. Used 2 other contractors and received bid $4,000 lower and with higher quality windows. If using this company I would make sure to obtain more than one estimate.

Assessment and cost estimating was very thorough and professional. Contractor did not require upfront deposit. Waiting for all supplies and materials was a point of concern as we were closing in on winter weather. Scheduling of work was not as convenient as it could have been. Skipped days, unknown whether workers were coming on site - communication was inconsistent. We had to contact the contract worker at home (mobile) to find out when he was due back. This made our work scheduling difficult. Drywall work is never dust free but they could have covered nearby furniture to prevent extra clean up work. First walk thru of completed work revealed a number of items needing correction and they were promptly documented in a change order and fixed the following week. Peter L Brown sales and scheduling representatives were easy to work with and accommodating to ur needs. The workers exhibited similar flexibility and willingness to do whatever was required without additional expense. I would call upon Peter L Brown again for similar remodel/repair services.

Both the original siding job and the most recent correction to some remodeling that out remodeling contractor messed up went perfectly as expected. The people were quick, courteous and cleaned up to the point that you would never know they were at your house. I would recommend Peter L. Brown to anyone looking for siding.

For us the decision to purchase replacement windows had two parts: choosing a manufacturer and choosing an installer. We wanted to maximize quality and minimize risk on both parts. We judged quality of manufacturer by the material, by the history and size of the manufacturer's company, and by reviews of the product on the web. We judged quality of installer by the size of the company, the length of time in business, whether their own employees installed the windows, and their investment in a nice showroom. Peter L. Brown has a great reputation. A neighbor who bought windows from them was very satisfied with the installation. However, the brand of windows that were installed at her house were a "bad batch," many of which had to be replaced. Peter L. Brown no longer carries that brand. But the brand they sell now, Mastic, did not fill me with confidence because the only benefit Mastic mentions on its web site is that the colors match Mastic vinyl siding. Mastic is made by Ply-Gem, and the reviews of Ply-Gem on the web were average. I did not visit the Peter L. Brown showroom because I had by then discovered that we could get highly-reviewed fiberglass windows from a high-quality local installer, so that's the way we went.

Scott was one of the men who put in the windows. They did most of the work outside. Scott explained what was being done. Ted Brown called me back when I had a question about the 2 x 4. I had wanted to see inside the wall for mold. Ted came over and granted my request.

Once they got started it went very well. Were able to match color of siding perfectly even though original siding 15 years old. Very pleased with results.

Willing to work with us on price. Maybe possible to get better price, but I feel you get what you pay for. Quality material and workmanship is what we were interested in when we inspected jobs that other businesses completed. Our job was completed with nearly no seams. Sales person was very involved with the whole process, providing samples for colors and suggestions for style. Job completed promptly considering adverse weather conditions at time of service. Installer was considerate to our needs and professional. Peter L. Brown provided copies of manufacturer warranties and tax credit documentation.

We were satisfied with the service this company gave us. They were very professional, answered all the questions we had beforehand, and cleaned up very well. We would definitely recommend using them and would use them again ourselves.
