We reached out to get a roof repair. The former employee Eric Bushey came and talked me about what the potential options were. Since we were not in the market at the time to get a new roof. He offered service that would be done himself not thru millstream. He required money up front for supplies with the condition we would pay the balance after the work was completed. We gave him 300 dollars up front thru PayPal to help pay for the supplies. Then he proceeded to keep making excuses for why he couldn't do the job over and over and again. So eventually I got fed up and demanded my money back. Those efforts went to waste so we reached out to Millstream. They suggested that we send a certified letter to his home address provided by Millstream demanding the money back or we would take him to court. That still went unresolved. He proceeded to keep making promises the money but never returned it.

Most awful company. They installed a new flat roof that that had a small leak where an adjacent sloped roof leaked. Millstream claimed only a new flat roof would resolve issue. The old flat roof had no leaks. The Millstream new flat roof has been leaking consistently since completion. They failed to properly supervise employees and refuse to make repairs. They blame the world but bury their heads to reality. The aesthetics of the job resembles something the 3 Stooges would have done. A mere sampling of photos attached. COMPANY IS TOXIC-STAY AWAY.

I decided to go with Millstream because of the reviews on Angi and other websites. As contracted, Millstream replaced my roof in a day and installed a ridge vent. Supervision of work and post installation inspection was poor that I had to request a replacement inspector. I had to inform them of missed gable vent closure; loose shingle, wavy ridge vent line. Most importantly, I had to research; and inform them that a Ridge vent needs multiple soffit openings and I had only 1. They agreed it was a miss and said they would fix the issue so I could “BREATHE PROPERLY” in my house. And they charged me additional $850. Nonetheless I am currently enjoying my new roof!

Isiasis this past summer 2020. They were very quick to come out and give me a quote. As a matter of fact they were the first one. The quote was reasonable and since it was a referral from a friend and they were quick to come out and give a quote I decided to go with them( A MISTAKE). The communication from the office was terrible. I signed the contract on 8/25/20 which stated the job would start estimated on 9/7 and complete on 9/21. So on 9/8 I had not heard from them so I reached out to the Salesman via text(Craig) and asked where we stood. He explained that they would not book a date until they got the first half deposit for the job. So I was not aware of this and immediatly jumped in the car and ran down to the office which stated on the website was open to 5. When I got there at 4:10 the place was all locked up and lights off. So I had to go back the next day. So the job started a couple of weeks later. The actual crew that showed up to do the job were very good. They were there at 8:00 am and did not leave until 7:30 and did a good job. They did rip out all the copper drains that were in the valley's of some spots and took them with them to sell I guess as they were not in the dumpster. The Next night it was a little warm in the house so I went to turn on our whole/attic fan to cool things off to find out it would not come on. So I went up in the attic to see what was wrong to find a Holy Mess. There were nails, asphalt debris everywhere all over our personal belongings stored up there. I went down to the office to tell them bout this and make a suggestion that they should let customers know this would happen as I could have placed tarps up there to cover and protect things. The office Administrator (Candi) who was good said I should have gotten a email prior to the project with helpful list of things to consider before the start of the project that was NEVER sent to me. I asked to have a meeting with the owner(Chris) to convey my concerns and disappointment. I met with him over 5 weeks ago now. I also showed him some pictures of some of the items including how the drip edge at the peaks of the roofs was not done well as it needed to be trimmed better and he agreed and stated that Candi and Josh would set up a time with me to get it corrected and that has NEVER taken place to date. My email is laur47@comcast.net Oh I almost forgot when I was quoted a price and the details of what was to be done in the package was the piece on venting the peak of the roof as this is what I had on my old roof and was agreed upon. Well it was never installed. When I questioned the owner he said that with my style of house(Colonial) it should not be. Well a neighbor around the corner with the same exact house had it done by Klaus!!!!

David came to inspect the roof of a house I am interested in purchasing. He was punctual, polite, and very knowledgeable. He took his time explaining things to me and showed me what a different aspects of the roof are and what can be done to take care of it. He got up on the porch roof and took pictures and touched different areas of the roof. Then went to the main house roof and inspected it from the attic again explaining what he saw while he gave recommendations as well. After the inspection I followed him outside and he showed me some sealant that he would recommend and took his time explaining the benefits and ease if using the product. He is also familiar with the NACA program and was able to create a write up which I was able to give the lender in a few days. David made me feel comfortable and knowledgeable and he shows that he knows his stuff. He's not afraid to get dirty and is patient with all my questions. I would def recommend him and Millstream and will keep them in mind when it's time for a new roof.

My husband and I get so upset thinking about our terrible experience with Millstream, even a month later, but we believe that others need to know what kind of quality and management they are purchasing and trusting, especially when it comes to a roof over their home. We had a new roof installed by Millstream. As soon as my husband inspected the roof (the night they finished), he realized some of the shingles weren’t installed properly. One actually came off right in his hand. We hired two separate roofing inspectors to tell us what we were dealing with. 200+ pictures later (each with very specific notes as to what’s done wrong), nothing was done right. I know that seems dramatic, but it’s sadly true. The biggest stuff (there’s so much more to say, but this is already too long so contact us for more specifics): • Not one shingle was installed properly. Some didn’t have nails in them. Some had up to 12 nails in them. Some came off in your hand. Some already blew off. • Some of the step flashing wasn’t installed. • One chimney wasn’t flashed at all, the other was flashed incorrectly. • The roof leaked with the first rain. We have tarps on it temporarily until our new roofer comes. • Every inch of our gutters were ruined. • Garbage and nails were left everywhere on our property. We’re still picking up nails and even had to purchase a nail magnet because we have a child and a dog. We spoke to the company many, many times, and they offered to redo our entire roof, but we could not let a company like that step near our home ever again. We also spoke to the lawyer who has other similar pending cases against them. We did get every cent back, so they admit it was a terrible, embarrassing job, but even that took too much time. The owner of the company finally called my husband after about 20 voicemail messages. They also let us know the crew was “strongly reprimanded.” That is not enough. What about the other roofs they touched and will touch? We cannot be an anomaly! If you’ve had your roof done by Millstream – get it inspected before you have leaks or they go out of business. If you’re thinking about hiring them, please read this review again and just ask around. You don’t know me nor have to trust me, but ask around. This is not how business is done these days. It’s about doing good, lasting work. That’s what we were promised.

Millstream construction is A+ company they came all the way to where our location which is southeast and the references which I reach out to were all A+ Better Business Bureau was all A+ so I was very happy with them

Millstream (and Craig, who came out to help us) were incredible. They were incredibly responsive and incredibly honest. They came to our house on a rushed basis after potential damage to our roof by an antenna installation. After inspecting our roof and making some small adjustments, they confirmed all was OK and didn't charge us! This sort of customer service makes me feel great about Millstream as a company, and I am absolutely confident that we can trust their recommendations and pricing for future work. This sort of service is rare, and I am looking forward to using them in the future.

Great job. Team arrived on time and worked two very long days on installation. Several weeks later I had a question about how some shingles looked. I don't know if it was a problem or not, but they came back out with no questions asked and put them on again. Highly recommend.

I contracted with Millstream because they were competitive with the other quotes I received. Their quote was slightly higher than the others, but, they offered more. While the others offered to replace one or two sheets of plywood if required, Millstream offered to replace 5 free of charge. A crew of 6 men and one woman arrived promptly at 7 am to begin replacing the roof on my 2.5 bay garage. The work was completed in 5 hours and was done to my satisfaction. However, after the crew left, I discovered that some of the items on the contract were not completed. Namely, the crew did not use a magnet to remove nails from the garage floor or the driveway. Additionally, upon inspection of their work, I found that they had moved many items in my garage and not replaced them to their original location. They also used my ladder and some left over lumber without permission. While I am very satisfied with the work done, I am not happy with having to pick up after the crew and with their use of my personal property without permission. Even so, given the quality and the workmanship I would consider Millstream for future projects.

They did an excellent job at a fair price.

Roofing was replaced on the entire house with four new skylights installed, as well. The job was well done in a timely manner and the trash hauled away. The price was fair and we are pleased with the work. So far no leaks. We don't expect any.

Chris is a diamond among rough-cut gravel. As soon as we contacted him, he went over and above the call of duty checking on the damage to our house and making sure it was secure as we were 600 miles away. His professionalism is impeccable. Good communication and can-do attitude. His team was professional as well and hard-working.

Went well. Representative showed up on time. Was very professional. Did not give hard sales pitch. Gave recommendations that need to take place in the next year or so.

I had roof damage after a major wind storm in March of 2018. This caused water to leak into my attic and down into the second floor of my Multi-Family. Originally the insurance company claimed that only half of the roof needed to be replaced, but Chris identified and explained why the damage had been more severe than originally thought. That kind of attention to detail and consultative service is what drew me to work with Millstream and Chris in the first place. In very short order, he had a team at the house and in a single day had completed work. It was so well done that I used them to install gutters on top of the roof work, which was equally as flawless. Things that stood out to me: > Service was outstanding - taking time to explain the why and how behind the what they were going to do. > Proactive and anticipatory consulting that made the job painless for me > Easy to work with - I could communicate with him via a variety of channels (email, phone, text) which made the job easier to manage. I wholeheartedly recommend this company if you need someone reliable and trustworthy.

Very responsive for contacting for quote and follow-up questions. When Chris showed up to do quote, he walked and checked out the roof, and took the time to go over the products they use for the roof and the warranties included because it's installed to GAF requirements. Quote included 5 sheets of plywood which none of the other 4 quotes did. Quick to schedule work date once we locked in project, and crew showed up promptly at 7AM and have entire roof stripped by 9AM. New roof was complete by 6PM the same day on a very hot summer day requiring multiple breaks. Chris came out and did walk-around for the completed roof, and got up on teh roof to check that everything was done properly. Extremely pleased with responsiveness by Chris and his team, and the quality of the work done for the new roof. Would definitely recommend for similar projects.

This is our second time using this reasonable company. Only a couple come back with reasonable prices. When they replaced our skylights, they were only the 2nd out of 7 that were not highly overpricing the job. We do not have any leaks in the new roof and the roof over the addition done a couple of years ago is fine. We now have a complete new roof on the home. It looks great. The old roof was removed of course. No problems. My friends are hiring them, too.

Damien had excellent communication, punctuality, and professionalism. I bought the $99 Angie's list deal for an inspection/minor repairs, but based on my experience with Damien, if I need more roofing work I would definitely call Millstream first.

Damian was able to come earlier than planned and emailed to see if that was ok. He arrived on time for the new time, and was very courteous and professional. He gave me a good report at the end, with pictures. And as an extra bonus, he helped me when I fell and twisted my ankle! I would definitely recommend him to others.

They had to match our shingles and then left the batch with us at our request. The work was done promptly and efficiently by the technician. He was very professional and so far we are delighted with the work .

Absolutely wonderful! First quality workmanship!! Crew of 6 had the entire house stripped of old shingles in 3 hours. All old shingles dropped on huge tarps draped around house. Installation of new shingles done with precision and speed. House finished in one day. All debris placed in dumpster hauled away the same day. Would HIGHLY recommend Millstream to anyone looking for roofing installation.
