+ 0 moreThe crew arrived at 7AM . They went to work immediately. Laid down tarps to receive old shingles. There was a dumpster delivered and all old shingles went into it. They then laid the tar paper, added the flashing , then the rubber guard and began laying the shingles.They finished the roofing and then cleaned up all of the yard around the house even using a magnet to pick up any stray nails. They loaded all of their equipment and left to go home. It was 2PM and everything was done. Fantastic. This was the second time I used them to roof a dwelling. Two years ago they reroofed a Mobile hime I own and did the same kind of work. Very consistent in workmanship and cordiallity.
Description of Work: Stripped old shingles off roof. Put down tar paper, installed rubber guard, put in new flashing and installed new shingles

+ 0 moreI would recommend this company because there are so many hackers that promise everything but, with Exteriors you get almost everything (thinking price here). They changed their name to Exteriors of CT which would normally raise a flag in my book but my job was already underway at the time. I got 5 estimates for the job. Exteriors was the 2nd highest quote. The highest quote was so far out it clearly meant that company didn't want the job. The lowest quote had to be a one man weekend operation. Good Luck in your search.
Description of Work: Had window replacement and siding done in 2011. The quality of the work was good but scheduling was a problem. In fairness weather was a factor. However the crew was very promote when reporting to the site. I am pleased with the performance of the windows but bear in mind that we had a very mild winter. The siding looks great but had one minor problem that took a few calls to remedy. Clean up could have been much better. The company did not move on price so if you run over budget expect to scale down your project a bit.

+ -1 moreWe feel like we were taken advantage of. They did not strip off the old roof and did not put any flashing down. They did not put the metal roof on correctly.
