My girlfriend and I communicated with Amy about a property listed under her, we scheduled a very specific date and time to take a look at it. Well, we showed up, but she did not. I called and texted and I am still waiting to hear back, but it's been about three weeks now so that seems unlikely. We were able to tour the property because there happened to be another agent there. He asked us who we were supposed to meet there and we told him Amy Rio and he just kind of laughed, so I take it her reputation of (un)reliability is well established. She is incredibly unprofessional. I've never left a Google review for anything before but this was so egregious I felt compelled to let people know. It is very easy to use any realtor to view any property, I highly advise against even bothering to contact her, you would genuinely be much better off just closing your eyes and throwing a dart at a random list of realtor names.

We found Amy Rio through Zillow and met with her to try and sell the condo my now wife had purchased before we met. We weren't living there so we were hoping it would be a smooth and quick process to get it listed and hopefully sold. Amy was on time and pleasant when we met at the condo and advised us a few days later the listing and pictures would be up. The trouble began when the listing took several days to populate all of the various real estate web sites. I had to proactively tell them about the issues and that some of the information was wrong and that some sites didn't have all of the photos. This resulted in them having to remove and relist the property which probably didn't help our chances of selling. During this whole time Amy was somewhat hard to reach and her emails were always written in some sort of cryptic shorthand that came across as very unprofessional. Eventually the listings were corrected. Even though we weren't living there, we still wanted to know when showings were in case we decided to go over to use the community pool and needed to change etc. Never were we told in advance of showings, it took me emailing her and asking if we had any showings. Days would go by with no updates unless i reached out to her. After a couple of months, we had no offers, so I suggested she rearrange the photos on the listings to show the inside of the unit rather than the rather plain outside, which her assistant Steve did. I also then suggested we drop the price by 5,000. This is the sort of thing she should have been recommending after all isn't some of the potential commission we would be paying if it sold for this sort of guidance and advice? When we dropped the price, they dropped it by an extra $900 so I once again had to alert them the price was wrong and get it corrected. Eventually we got a lowball offer and we were first notified from the potential buyers agent rather than from Amy. Again, I had to email her with out idea of a counter offer, never getting any advice or ideas from her. I checked back after a couple days and she said she never heard back from the other agent about our counter which is possible however seemed odd to me since our counter was generous and showed we were willing to negotiate. Eventually the end of our contract came and we got our key back, removed the listing, and ended our relationship. We found a new agent who has been absolutely fantastic. He informed us the listing was actually removed DAYS before we were told it would. I don't think Amy was doing anything on this listing, i think she was just hoping it would sell quickly and she wouldn't have to put any work into marketing or selling the property. Fast forward to this week, and our new agent got us a full price offer (albeit at a slightly reduced price from our prior price) but we are thrilled that we got it and are under contract.

Amy Rio's expert marketing and negotiating skills allowed me to sell my home for a fair market price within six weeks of listing it. Amy goes above and beyond what the average real estate person does, as my previous agent could not sell the house in six months for the same price Amy did in six weeks. Whatever concerns popped up Amy was there to resolve the problem. Amy always returned phone calls and emails in a timely matter. As a matter fact when I made my first contact with her requesting her to sell my house she responded within twenty minutes of my phone call and this kind of service continued through the entire process. Amy gives you 110% in all aspects of selling your property. She is honest, trust worthy and keeps her promises. No disappointments here. No phony open houses that do nothing to sell homes or For Sale Signs in your front yard. No Amy Rio sells homes the way buyers look for homes on the internet with professional photography, expensive glossy brochures, her company's marketing dollars are spent wisely giving you the biggest bang for your buck.. If you want your home sold, Amy Rio is your go to person to get the job done!
