He was prompt, thorough, and the workmanship was excellent. John removed the old wood frame, prepped the area and replaced two sides of the window with new framing.
Description of Work: John replaced a window frame that had partially rotted.

A few days later he came and left written information about the supplies to order and what the cost would be. A few days later he called and set up a time to come and do the work. He and his son came and did an excellent job. He was pleasant and professional, and I am confident that he knows how to do good home repairs.

Description of Work: Great quality work! Fair prices and good communication. Would use john again if needed. He installed a door to our basement bulkhead entryway. And it is in very solid. Will keep the basement warmer I am sure as well as add the extra security we were hoping for. I'm sure we will save in heating costs. I liked the fact that he cleaned up after himself and took all his trash left over from the job. He does great work and has pictures to prove it. Don't hesitate he is not a scam or drain your wallet like others.

His prices are certainly very competitive. He is just wonderful and I would always refer him. He is awesome and I would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: I use John Scarpo of The Helping Hand for remodeling. He has done my kitchen often and now is doing a breakfast nook for me.
