+ -1 moreThis company failed to show up at the scheduled time, nor did anyone call to notify me that they were unable to fulfill their commitment and reschedule with me. Apparently my time is not as valuable as theirs is...I wouldn’t bother with them, no respect for potential customers and/or their time.

Got the job done from another guy who responds to his potential customers. Sad but true ! if you don't want the job, or are too busy, let us know, leaving us hanging is unacceptable

That means you may have to wait a little longer for his services, as he was very busy, but he's worth the wait - We found Ray Pierson Electric to be very thorough, knowledgeable and professional in manner and workmanship.
Description of Work: Ray installed a 1 & 1/2" conduit pipe from breaker box 23' to where wires enter basement. Pulled cable thru for three new 20AMP breakers & 3 new circuits in house & ran 3 more strands of 12 gauge wire for spares.

As always, very flexible to meet our scheduling needs, neat and very friendly. While doing the job .. he also noticed an issue with our electrical box which he took the time to point out and fix so that we would not have any further issues in our future. Wonderful to work with, highly recommend!!!

+ -1 moreRay was incredible to work with! He returned my call the same day and took time to come out to my home and give me a written estimate of his work ... very detailed! I knew exactly what was being installed and when. He confirmed that everything was to code for the town requirements. The pool installers kept postponing the installation of the pool and Ray was very flexible with his schedule to meet our needs. Afterwards, he took the time to walk my husband and I through all the work that he did and explained every thing that was done and why. Excellent communication, cleaned up after his work and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician. He restored my faith in contractors! I would never use another one.
Description of Work: Installed and ran wiring from breaker to new set up for an above ground pool pump.

Description of Work: I called Ray Pierson and left messages asking to discuss an electrical project and get an estimate. He called back a day later and left a message for me to call him back. I tried to reach him several times. No one ever answered the phone. So I left another message asking him to please call back. He never returned my call. Since I live quite close to him, it would have been rather easy for him to come give me an estimate. If he had performed the work and done a good job, it would have been good for him, as I have several future electrical projects. If he is overloaded with work and not interested in my business, that's fine, but the professional thing to do is to convey that information and make a referral to another electrical contractor with a good reputation. Not returning calls is unprofessional. Pierson seems to have high marks on this site for his workmanship, but I was not impressed with my experience and do not like to waste my time.

+ -1 moreRay Pierson came to the house and gave me a quote shortly after I first contacted him. He kept me up to date on the status of material he had to order so I would know when installation would take place. He performed the installation as expected in one day. The only extra was when Ray noticed our ground rod was not to code and he fixed that as well. The price for the work and material was at or below what I was expecting. I would definitely utilize Ray's services again.
Description of Work: Ray replaced the existing 200amp breaker panel on our house with a larger panel and installed a 30 amp generator interlock with the new panel.

+ -1 moreOverall, I was very pleased with Ray. He was pleasant, diligent, and reasonably priced. I had several jobs in two apartments. Some of the work took a bit longer then anticipated, but I was not under a time constraint. Ray's end work was great. I would use Pierson Electric again.
Description of Work: Repair electric wiring in house. Install new outdoor, entry lighting. Install undercounter lighting. Install overhead kitchen lighting. Repair/hook-up vent hood.

He even tolerated my 5 year old son hanging out with him and asking him a million questions about his job - he let my son hold the flashlight for him while he was working and my son loved it!

He came over then next morning, and performed the work for the quoted price. He was punctual, professional, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: I called several electrical contractors from Angie's List for an estimate to fix an electrical outlet. The company was very professional and I scheduled them for an appointment. Unfortunately for Pierson the fist company that came out gave me a reasonable price and I had them go ahead with the repair. ("Bird in hand worth two in bush!") I was impressed with Pierson's deportment and the manner that the telephone call was handled. I would call them again if I ever need an electrical contractor.

Description of Work: Ray moved an 4 switch outlet from one wall to another. Although this should have been a simple job, the age of my house and the number of additions added to it over the years made it a difficult and complicated task.
