Beautifully. We wanted the chimney work done while we were away. They did that, and also emailed photographs of the completed work to us in Sicily. The stucco was done, very nicely, after we got back. There was one small mixup on dates for the work that was a minor inconvenience and Sal apologized quite nicely.
Description of Work: We hired them for two things – partial chimney rebuilding, and some stucco work on the garage. They did that and also straightened some stone pavers that chipmunks had undermined.

Sal was extremely responsive to our needs. He was willing to work with us replace a stone when we were unhappy with a color match. His crew was outstanding: very professional and reliable.

I have an older home and this particular chimney suffered a bit of damage over last winter's storms. I had hoped it would be a relatively simple repair job but several other chimney companies indicated I'd need a total rebuild, one saying that the chimney "as is" would never pass a home inspection. The price was going to be about $8,000 and as I hope to put my house on the market in the spring, I had to decide whether to spend the money, or have the rebuild negotiated into the closing costs, etc. When I saw that a women gave Sal a great review based on a similar issue (contractors saying it must be rebuilt) and that he "restored" for much less, I gave him a call. In short, Sal alleviated my fears by confirming that my chimney is sound and did not need a rebuild. Instead, he performed the above-mentioned repairs for a very affordable $775. Sal is an honest guy and I've already provided a recommendation to another friend to give him a call.
Description of Work: Repaired loose mortar and brick on shoulder of chimney; replaced flue and poured new concrete cap, inspected chimney for any broken flue liners, recaulked around metal plate at top of 2nd chimney. Cleaned up, and left me with the spare mortar for little jobs I could do myself (concrete repairs on sidewalk, chipmunk hole in cement steps, etc.). Took only a few hours!

Sal recommended a restoration project over a complete chimney replacement, which is what the other two companies suggested. It was nice to see someone not trying to do more work than necessary to just make an extra buck. Sal showed up on time, did the work as promised and, when I notice the lighting rods hadn't been replaced, he came back the next day and bolted them to the chimney and re-wired them to look as they did prior to the roof and chimney work we had done.
Description of Work: Replace cracked bricks on chimney, replaced concrete cap, sprayed sealant on entire chimney, installed metal hood over chimney top.
