Frank called us shortly after we contacted him through Angie's list, and met with us within a few days to provide us an estimate. Frank walked us through several options, including the pros/cons of stain vs. paint. All the previous times we had the exterior "painted", we used a solid stain, and were not happy with the results. Frank highly recommended going with a high quality paint, which would improve coverage and last longer before fading. Franklin was higher than several of our estimates, but we felt more comfortable going with Frank and his team. During the time we were waiting for Frank to schedule our painting, he contacted us several times to help with color selection, and even stopped over the house when he was checking on another job in the area. A few weeks before the work was going to start, Frank had his foreman stop by to discuss all the details of the job and after the power washing was done, the team stopped by to apply several different shades of the color we were planning to go with so we could see how each looked and make a final selection. The job took a little over a week due to weather, and the end result was fantastic. Frank and his team made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process, and we definitely would use them again for our painting needs.

We could not be happier. The house was originally coated with a semi-transparent stain, all one color. We decided to go with solid stain, two colors. A gray (taupe) for the siding and an off-white for the trim. The siding and trim are rough wood. The Franklin Painting team did a fantastic job. Some spots needed 3 or 4 coats to cover. They just did it, no additional charge. Communication with the team was great and there attitude was "we will give you what you want" and they did. The team members were all professional, courteous and friendly. They were always at the house when they said they would be and always communicated when they would be there next. We would recommend this company to anyone and have no fear they would provide the same level of service. By the way, we think the price was very reasonable for what we got.

The young painters were courteous, professional, and extremely competent, going beyond what the work order required to meet our needs. We could not have been more pleased with their performance and with the result.

We are getting quotes for painting trim and walls of three bedrooms. They returned my email inquiry quickly. He asked how many quotes I was getting, to which I replied 3 to 4. He then said that they would not be a "lowest quote" and that it would be "a waste of time" to quote the job. There was no point in going forward, and I can only imagine what it would be like to deal with this company!

I got a response to my inquiry for an estimate for a painting and repair job and was told it would be $100 for them to come out. Have had two other companies respond and am getting estimates from them this week. Odd that with the same description of work this is the only company that wanted me to pay for an estimate. If this is their policy then I wish their ads and website were clear about it.

Franklin Painting was wonderful from the first phonecall to the last day of the job. The owner is honest, professional and very nice to work with. His staff is great. I had his designer come to the house and spend time with me choosing colors. She took the time to listen to what my vision was and helped to choose the colors I really was happy with. His staff of painters and foreman was very professional, polite and cleaned up very well when they were finished each day. We are very please with the job that was done for us. I can't say enough about this company from the owner to the designer to the staff. I will use them in the future. I have been telling everyone how great they are. Thank you so much for the great job.

We are selling our house. The large deck needed work. The stain that I applied a couple of years ago was peeling off in sheets and looked terrible. Because of very tight timing, Frank was able to recommend a great floor sander, Rick Scaret, who would sand decks. Frank said he would fit us in after Rick came. Frank's crew, who has done a lot of interior and exterior painting for us came exactly when scheduled. Once again, they provided 'over the top' work and completed the deck in a beautiful fashion. We are now moving. I would urge anyone who is checking Angie's List for a painting company to call Franklin Painting......for ANY type of painting job. In the past, they have resurfaced my kitchen, painted lots of difficult ceilings and plaster walls, and did a wonderful job on the exterior of our house. We will miss having Franklin Painting as our "go to" painting source.

All went beautifully and I am so impressed with the work that was done. The hallway, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are all large rooms, and there was quite a lot of woodwork to be done, and it was done very well. Greg and his colleagues showed up on time (early actually) every day and completed all the work in less than ten days. The preparation work was extraordinary and no short cuts were taken - none. Clean up was done every day and the disruption to our lives was minimal. Greg recommended a shinier paint than I would have chosen for the large amount of woodwork in the kitchen and I followed his advice despite my amateurish misgivings. Of course he was absolutely right and I am so pleased with the result as it is easier to keep clean and already is wearing better than previous applications. Meticulous work habits inspired that kind of trust and I am so grateful. The crew had some pretty bad earlier paint jobs to contend with and they managed it very well indeed and why I described their preparation work as so exceptional, extraordinary even... I have been hiring people to do work in my houses, - we moved about a lot - and this was far and away the best experience I have ever had in that arena. When the work was complete, I was actually sorry to see the men go as they were so pleasant to have around. There is quite a bit more work to be done soon, and I am confident it will be done well. We were just waiting for the weather to improve so an unheated area could be painted. Mr. Campanelli was immediately responsive to my call and prepared the quote in short order. Work commenced within a few days and was completed in a timely fashion. I am so pleased with everything that I told the man who built our house about our experience. He has a house he has just completed which must be painted and I gave the most glowing recommendation. No higher praise than that!

It went great. I got my estimate on a friday and they started work on the following Wednesday. I told them I leave for work at 7.30 and every day they were there early every day! They did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of the workday. They were dog friendly too!

Over a year ago, I ambitiously started to paint the railing around out deck. It is a large deck with a very long railing. I found that even using a small roller to apply the paint, my progress was at a snails pace. I finally called Frank and asked if his crew could complete the job at some point this summer. He gave me a quote of $1,000 which would have seemed high if I had not tried to do the work myself; so, I appreciated how much time it would take. The crew arrived; applied two coats to all surfaces using a spray paint. I'm thrilled with the results and I know that I'd still be working on it today!!!!

I called Monday to discuss having someone come out to the house to paint the master bedroom that week. The gentleman on the phone said that the painting could be arranged for that Wednesday. I explained that the room had to be painted by Friday. We discussed this point repeatedly. He repeated this information back to me several times and included a basic estimated price of under 1,000$. The appointment was made for Wednesday. According to the person on the phone, a painter would be arriving at my house 11:00 am Wednesday to paint. Tuesday I received a call from the gentleman who said he would be painting. When he asked me details, it became apparent he did not understand I needed the job done immediately. So I explained everything again and he acted surprised when I said I expected him the next day. He said that wasn't possible. In addition, the quote he gave me was for 1900. For a single room. Overpriced and inaccurate promises of services...

I got an estimate within days of phoning and signed contract that day. When I was ready for the painting, I phoned and they came out the next day to double check the project and determine the amount of paint needed. Came the next day to paint and completed the project in two days. Were neat, friendly and professional and did a great job. Thoroughly cleaned up before leaving.

Everything went quickly and well. We were, as always, totally satisfied by the expertise of the workman.

Everything went great from the first consultation to the end of the job. I was kept informed on a weekly basis. Painters were professional, courteous, clean and efficient.

The guys that work for Franklin Painting are FANTASTIC! Each one was polite, efficient and very respectful. They know their craft extremely well and went way above and beyond what we expected. They cleaned up after themselves each day before they left. We will be having them come back to paint and wallpaper 3 more bedrooms. Don't hesitate to have them in your house without being there. The owner and the painters were very nice to work with. They were punctual, accommodating, professional, and always kept you informed on where the job stood. The power washing and painting were jobs both well done. We were very pleased with the whole experience and would absolutely hire them again.
